Not sure where you can steam it now, possibly on YouTube though? Ken Burns has made some great documentary series. There was a one on Ernest Hemingway and another one on Muhammad Ali that were excellent. I’m only really into late 50s / early 60s Jazz (and even then only a little bit) but I even thought his series in the history of Jazz was well worth watching. There other ones like a series about Prohibition and the American civil war which were pretty epic. What really sets that Vietnam War one apart though is all the contemporary footage available due to the unprecedented access (not seen before or since) that journalists and filmmakers had. Absolutely superb is 100% spot on. Aye that's the one, saw his civil war one as well and I think it was him who did a shorter one about buffalo and them being almost wiped out?

It's funny what sticks. Jennifer Rush was no. 1 on my 16th birthday…. I fuckin detest that fuckin song edit: I’ve never flicked to kick in my life. Think I missed out there somehow me and my brother had a lot of Lego and meccano though… Edited May 10 by PaddockLad

Probably why I had no interest in DT at school which I wished I had of shown more interest for being an adult. My patience with stuff like that was nil, same with art. If it didn't look right straight away I'd go in a huff with it.

Quote Interviewer: Do you see yourself as having any weaknesses? HMHM: [Shakes head] Oh yes! Cause like I'm a bit of a perfectionist, actually. Yes, I am. See, for me it's got to be the best or is nothing at all. Like, things get a bit dodgy I just cannot be bothered. But here I've got good vibes about this interview thing today, mate. Seems to me that it's going pretty well, eh?

Gemmill 53569
Get Millie Black is decent. It's on 4 on demand. A police show set in Jamaica, or a Babylon show as me and me breddas know it. 5 episodes, one and done. 1

Gotta say, I love the village wedding scene where the villagers start singing to help hide Peck and co from being discovered from the reform originals, almost makes me want to order a greek village meze in tribute.
Gemmill 53569 Posted Friday at 11:35 Share Posted Friday at 11:35 Mo is good. It's on Netflix, and it's a semi autobiographical sitcom about a Palestinian bloke who's been living in Houston since he was a kid but is still a refugee. Funny, but serious stuff happening as well. aimaad22 5077
Andor season 2 was better than I expected. Felt more like a quality political/spy thriller than a Disney star wars production. A brave nod to current world events too.
