Zoom in to the back right and you can see Spaniel’s mam getting buckled by a young Brokendoll.

you never know, I like to fondly recollect (obviously not with rose tinted glasses) on being a big hit with the chicks when i was 21

there's a reasonable a chance I was there somewhere amongst the faded lee jeans and pringle golf jumpers!

pretty sure there's a photo of them lot knocking about from the same season being escorted back to manors station.

I was definitely there, I wasn't part of the NME but those days you had to hang around with all the squad just to be safer. If I remember correctly the police charged and scattered everyone there to stop us going to Stamford Bridge in such numbers. It didn't work 😂

Gets mentioned every time something like this gets posted, but try and count the obese people in that video. Compare it to walking through town today.

Nice trip through memory lane too.

What, when men were men and all that?

This is an ugly colour on you Scott. Very unpleasant.

first time i visited was in 86 to watch the team v arsenal , i was 18 and then started to go to many games after that . hiding and avoiding the train ticket inspector all the way from peterborough. happy days.  Also remember the arsenal team travelled back on the same train with the general public although they had a separate carriage!

I think the little white building on the right of the first pic, is the tea hut on the gallowgate, basically the only place that you could get a drink and a snack at that end of the ground in the 80s!

The fact that you never had anything during the match in those days made the Keegans hamburgers or hot dogs  taste even better.

Seem to remember Fergie and Jim Smith shoulder barging each other on the touch line?..  this is the 5th round, Fergies job was allegedly saved by a Mark Robins winner in the 3rd…they’d go on to win the fuckin thing and the cup winners the following season and the rest as they say is fuckin history 😒
