While a card marks the occasion, don't forget to do something truly wonderful for the love of your life. Some sort of gesture that money can't buy. Maybe just a simple love note or home made poem. A soppy tale from taxi land. Today I picked up a lovely old man in his late 70's from a retirement home to drive him 6 miles to visit his wife who has had to move into a nursing home because he can't look after her anymore. He asked about my life and told me to treasure every moment. Both he and his wife are both mentally fit and are broken hearted that after 50 odd years of marriage they are now separated against their will. Already gave her some flowers, but I get her them from time to time anyway. We went to Slaley for the weekend but that was more for our anniversary a few weeks back.
