Have any of them acknowledged that as it stands, they are the worst team in the league based on previous league position? Or that they've sold at least one (two?) of their first team players since then, without replacing them? They may spend a fortune and be competent, but I'm not sure where any confidence in that outcome is at present.

No, they're pretty confident they'll take 4pts off the following;

Burnley
Leeds
Brentford
Fulham
Everton
West Ham

 

Now, Burnley and Leeds did give them 4pts last season, to be sure, but 10th-13th in the Premier League giving up 4pts to the teams that needed Play Offs to get promoted? I'm not sure.

Absolutely bizarre the amount of threads on " Mag tops" that appear on there. As soon as on is locked another one pops up whackamole style. This one is 120 posts since starting this afternoon, same old shit on repeat. And yet. They swell with pride when they see MLFs wearing deck chair tops. Strange bunch.

My favourite part about them is when the one reasonable poster (out of the thousands of chin dribblers) in each thread points out the irony in calling us obsessed while crying over footy tops on the internet. The pile on is almost always spectacular. A bunch of dings on the internet bullying a grown mackem man by calling him a secret mag.

That's the line, isn't it? They have to obscure those threads for fear of sponsors reacting poorly to the brave Sunderland fans calling out the oppressive regime.
