Goes back to when Aden was a British port and a shortage of male workers locally post-WW1 iirc. I think many historians argue the unrest MF mentions was the first race riot in the UK. Also you may have seen the pictures from when Muhammad Ali visited the north east in the late 70s and when he and his wife had their recent marriage blessed at the mosque in South Shields.

Loads if them are going "Wadn't". I am sure she is devastated.

Apparently  she did an interview recently where she said she was a child of immigrants and if she had a ladder would take down the George cross some knacker put on the Angel of the North. I could hear the racist cries of derision from here. There really are some horrible cunts on there.

Keith turned down better looking lasses on holiday in Elevenerife

“Wadn’t”

That’s pure cringe right there.

If they’re going to type in mackemeyse, they need to commit to it fully, not just knuckle smashing the odd word now and then.

It would make their board even more entertaining than it already is.

As far as Ms. Wadn’t, well, firstly, wad- obviously , secondly-aye, she’s of Yemeni descent on her mother’s side I believe.

There is ( or was, at least) a decent sized Yemeni community in South Shields , from a bunch of Merchant seamen who settled there in the 1920s and 30s.
There was also a serious race riot there in the 30s, I think, by proto-gammon sand dancers.

One of my Grandad’s sisters had three kids, the eldest of whom was mixed race , and had a Muslim surname.

My brother and I were aware that there had been “whisperings” about his parentage ( and his legitimacy), amongst elder members of the family, so when we did our family tree is was a very satisfying thing to trace his father, a Merchant seaman from Yemen, who married his mother a year before his birth, and was then lost at sea during WWII, as many of his fellow colleagues were.
It was nice to put the whispers to bed on his behalf and share the fact his dad paid the ultimate price to help feed this country in wartime.

Some have picked up on her yemenese descent and of course that created even more fewm, because I their pig headed ignorance that made her a hypocrite because of our Saudi ownership.

I mean, you could try to explain to them that Yemen is in the midst of a civil war right now and that the Saudi beef isn't with the legitimate government but against the Houthi rebels who are as barbaric as they come. But somehow I don't think the nuances of geopolitics is what these thick mackem cunts are interested in. They want to get upset because a lass wears a Newcastle shirt and use that as an excuse to make misogynistic and racial slurs. Classy.

She's fucking lush, those mutants should be happy her family was bringing fresh genes to the North East. Their lot have been passing around the same five or ten sets since time immemorial. I think it was in the Domesday Book "And then Callum did marrye his sister, as generations of Callums hath done before him."

They're just fucking horrible people. Not all of them obviously but anyone trying to pick on a young lass cos she supports Newcastle and then making out that she's some kind of race traitor.

Just proper bottom of the barrel, thick morons who think anything is acceptable if you're having a go at a "mag".

We used to have an autographed programme from a dinner Ali ( and my parents) held while he was here on that visit, but my fucking degenerate “stepfather” sold it for ale.

Years later I found out that my uncle, Scotswood lad that was a doorman in the 60s, offered to chin him for my Mam when he found out about it

My Mam, bless her, reluctantly declined.

FFS Mam!

i swear there are nearly as many posts on their board on us as they are on them, and this is when they've hot the new stadium extension, the new Arsene Wenger, and have practically qualified for Europe themselves.

Nothing new like. I remember when Shearer missed against Partisan. There was one stage when every single thread on their front page was about us.

They'll do what they did against PSG, against Liverpool in the final and the original game v Barcelona. They'll watch it hoping we get stuffed then turn it off if we do well claiming they never watched it in the first place. The majority of them claiming otherwise are full of shit and they know it.

If we win it'll be corruption, luck and Barcelona not being as good as they once were.

If we lose it'll be because we're shite, we've overpaid for every player and Howe is a fraud.

You can set your clocks by it.

For what it's worth and I accept it's a small sample size and all that but...

image.thumb.png.afe0b4c8e4e1db5d41ddc0a22d2561fa.png

They're conceding a load of chances and not creating many.

image.thumb.png.09121c6a122a75266e3a50fc52a7d981.png

They're scoring significantly more goals than you'd expect from those few chances and ...

They're conceding significantly fewer goals than you'd expect given the chances they give up.

Again, it's a small sample size but I wouldn't be getting too excited if I were them.

A correction is coming Davo. The all important xP table has the languishing 4 spots above relegation, and currently running over 2 points better than they should be.

Although no doubt expected points is a Magedia invention designed to keep them down.

And Yamal not being played. A bit like how MBappe didn't play when we slaughtered PSG. Oh, wait.
