This is getting ridiculous now

He's said previously he's happy at the club and would only leave if a bigger team came along with a concrete offer and a starting role.

That and he'd be f*cking expensive given his reputation and ability.

Bit of a non story tbh.

Personally I think it's an attempt by him to firmly put himself on their radar.

I dont think he needs to be on any ones radar, he needs to consistently effect the outcome of games if he wants a big move to a CL team, particularly in France. They all know his past antics and wont splash big money for a couple of wonder goals a season.

See Eric Cantona.

Idiot.

Besides - it's clear to see Ben Arfa offers a lot more than that. I'd love to have CT tell us about Ben Arfa's ''past antics'' by the way - he made his name in a Champions League team.

He'll go and when he does I'm doubtful I'll see many better players at Newcastle.

Its not a case of what he offers but whether he can produce it consistently enough to tempt a CL club in for him.

Get him fit & on the pitch - in a reasonable system & yes - he can.

Hoof the ball past him he can't. Pardew managed him perfectly last season - instilled a desire into him over a period of time & when he started playing properly he was enjoying every second of it - and when that happens you don't want to be an opposition player - regardless of supposed quality - like Steven Gerrard put on his his arse like a smacked DJ.

He could get in any squad in the world - put him in Spain and I reckon he'd get 20 a season and probably the same in assists.

Think it's a bit of a non-starter tbh. Even though he has shown he's world class here, PSG are more likely to go for more fashionable/bigger name players with money being no object to them. Plus its just the player declaring he'd one day like to go there, if it was PSG declaring there interest in him then I'd start to worry.

I reckon he's definitely trying to engineer a move away from us. Probably dis-illusioned by the Ba and Coloccini situations. Sad when both are/were out of the control of NUFC.

Maybe he should work on his fitness and shut the fuck up. If he wasn't made of balsa and was more consistent, we might not be in this position. On his day he is unplayable, but he needs to string a long run of games together at a consistent level to be considered a top player.

Simon Bird:

"Ben arfa on French radio tonight: :" If there's no ambition at Newcastle then maybe I shd leave at the end of the season"

This is actually the full quotes. So Bird is trying to twist it for some reason.
