Not bad. On a British commuter train they wouldn't have even bothered with the exterior. :D

Parky Jnr asked me when we were in the UK last what this thing was we were getting on....I said it's a diesel pollution machine disguised as a train.

It's ok, the market will find it's level, hard working taxpayers will take back control etc.

I'm fully resigned to this shit now I have to say. I don't know what the Brexiteers expected, but I note with interest that all shareholders in the business I work for, including our CEO, have relocated to Europe in the past few months. The rich escaping as usual.

Just had the misfortune of listening to Farage on Irish radio peddling some absolute lies about how everyone involved in the referendum made it clear that leaving the EU meant leaving the single market and how sterling was already falling steadily for the last seven years.

Complete bollocks that wasn't challenged at all by the host.

Yep, absolutely no fucker made that clear. One of the main arguments we were having across the nation was a) how suicidal such a thing would be, and b] how pointless Brexit would be without doing it. If Farage had come out and said that this was the plan, the latter point would never have been in the discussion.

It's going to get very ugly , isn't it? As though being British wasn't embarrassing enough

Aye, just because some divvies who have union jack flags on their twitter avatars were allowed to vote on a referendum that should never have happened.

The immigration issue was never an issue to me but there's a hell of a lot of people whose jobs are being taken away / undercut due to cheap labour.

Take A & P on the Tyne. Where once your average joe was employed, work is now put out to the lowest bidder. That bidder employs a load of poles on reduced wages and sticks a load of them in a 3 bed semi.

A & P save money, the contractor gets rich and average Joe is fucked.

Nowt wrong with immigration but it shouldn't be used as a way to a couple of people richer and a workforce unemployed / poorer.

They'll get their cheap workforce anyway as evidenced by non-EU immigration continuing to increase even though the government could theoretically curb that as much as they want.
