The fact that I'm even thinking to myself "...still can't imagine Corbyn leading the negotiations though" probably speaks volumes for how the election is going to turn out despite the above clusterfuck.

The fact the EU leaked the entire details of a private dinner conversation, in which the PM is made to look naive, deluded and, well, a bit thick, doesn't bode too well for negotiations.

That dinner was just a ploy in pre-negotiations from May. It starts off with willy waving then phase 2 is putting fingers in your ears shouting 'Strong and stable leadership - I'm not listening - strong and stable leadership - I'm not listening!'

It's fucking brilliant though :D

I hope they're right and that we reconsider Brexit as we go through with it.

When Le Pen wins the Italian banks will collapse, the euro will go into free fall and there won't be an EU left to deal with/or they will panic and give us a whatever  deal we want. It doesn't matter what these people say the only thing that matter now is France.

I think in that scenario, all bets are off.

Don't think Le Pen will do it though. It'll

Be close but macron should be able to rally just enough of the remaining voters to keep her out.

Doesn't look to me particularly like she will win tbh. I thought she stood a good chance, but the centre is doing everything it can here and I'm not sure disillusionment is quite high enough yet.

Agree with Parky, Le Pen wins and its the real start of the end of the road for the EU. Which I don't really have a problem with. I do have a problem with the quasi-fascists who have led the movement though. Farage and Le Pen are fuckin revolting people.

''Theresa May says she will be a "bloody difficult woman" towards European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker during Brexit talks.''

Well that's exactly the sort of tone that bodes well for negotiations.

She has no idea what it means to do that though. No idea when to apply it, when to appease, and generally is poorly informed on all related matters. Juncker is going to fucking murder her.

Has CT been around since his last appearance?....he should really read this, it's by the last person who went to Brussels looking for a "cracking deal"...

He's right about asking for an 'off the shelf' solution like Norway. This would make it difficult for petty punishments and time wasting.

Wanting / expecting a 'cracking deal' and wanting the leave the EU at the same time is a fucking daft pov anyway.

Varoufakis is an absolute chancer, mind.

Yeah it's hard to figure out which side he's really on. The Russell Brand of economic dialectics. Shill chill.
