Well, this was a disgrace.

Thought Janmaat played well. Perez and Aarons as well, not that the latter had long.

Haidara was shocking.

Cisse also poor, not that he was in his element. Thought de Jong was pretty anonymous but they had 10 men behind the ball by the time he came on.

The only redeeming thing here is that WHam are actually not a bad team, on the evidence so far. There's an increasing number of teams that I consider 'not that bad' and therefore good enough to beat us mind, which isn't hugely encouraging. I think we'll be lucky to scrape top 10 this season to be honest - 14th-16th much more likely.

McClaren clearly hasn't conveyed his feelings on how we should be playing to the team well enough, as we look directionless. Really needs to improve.

We invited pressure at Swansea in the first half, gave them far too much of the ball.

We invited pressure at Old Trafford in the first half, gave them far too much of the ball.

We invited pressure against Arsenal in the first half, gave them far too much of the ball.

There's a pattern emerging here.

No pattern as far as I can see. This game was characterised by West Ham playing on the break, not us sitting back and inviting pressure. We have consistently lacked a goal threat up front all season and it looks like it's an issue.

Really worrying performance this. Look fucking lost.

We've some decent players but we're going to have to look into trying something new as four games without a goal is shite and confidence seems to be draining already from the side. The likes of Gini must be thinking 'what the fuck is this shit?'.

Well, this was a disgrace.

Thought Janmaat played well.

He put Mbemba under pressure with a shocking backpass for their first goal...canny footballer but he makes costly mistakes or gets sent off too often for me, another yellow tonight. He's approaching Santon territory for simple mistakes and inconsistency iyam.
