Obviously the mean temps are going to be warmer but it’s a mountainous region of the UK. But probably not a bad shout at that time of year. Worth noting though that the Scots (iirc) have all of July (rather than August) off for their kids summer hols so they’re back at school early / mid August. Although you obviously get lots of English visitors. Beginning of September might not be a bad shout either. You will get A LOT of daylight in June too. This. Late May, June, or late August, September. Cairn Gorms are a proper wilderness but for my money the West side is much better. Trossachs, Glen Coe, Mamores, Nevis range, Torridon, Ullapool. Best scenery on the planet. Edited 22 hours ago by Renton

My wife went to Stirling Uni so we would be going via Stirling so I can visit that. Her uni grounds look stunning. Sept is a good shout actually. I don't mind wet weather at all or tbh the cold. It's the midgies I don't like 😂

Howmanheyman 38308
Currently in Andalusia between Marbella and Estapona, not sure if you can see it on the photo but think you might be able to see the pillars of Hercules, definitely Gibraltar anyway in the distance. The raggy is top notch by the way and that's especially the staff. 3

It's a luxury 5* which was picked with some planning for our 25th anniversary next month, (about a grand cheaper for the sake of a few weeks, yes please).
PaddockLad 19895
We’ve just booked to go here, hoping @Meenzer can fit it into his no doubt hectic social schedule ☺️✊🏻 A sophisticated gay scene has developed around Gallipoli, often referred to as “Gay-lipoli”. The city is particularly well known as a destination for the Italian gay population [4] and has become “Italy’s gay summer paradise”.[5] A vibrant nightlife means Gallipoli draws an international gay crowd over the summer months, with visitors also being drawn by the nearby naturist beaches and the popular lidos at Baia Verde. Going in late September so hoping to get a game in at Stadio Ettore to see I Giallorossi 💊
