They get a small jump in jobs at home as they push manufacturing and products that belong in the last century. Meanwhile, with Trump having alienated NATO and most of the nation's leaders, Europeans rally around Merkel and start making a push towards military, energy and financial independence from the US. Investment is heavy in renewable energy and associated products. Europe becomes the world leader and the dominant global financial power. Their military investment is able to outstrip the US . Britain are cutoff from all this due to Brexit. Germany, having been given a helping hand to recover after world war 2 now lead the world.
