Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER

Woken up to a load of deleted messages in my football group chat with mates from home.

Apparently our resident liverpool fan has had a HUGE rant about Alexander-Arnold leaving liverpool and has deleted them in embarrassment when he was informed that not only does no one else in the group give a shit but that practically every non-liverpool fan in the country thinks they're being a bunch of twats by having such a problem with him leaving.

football is brilliant.

Committing rape would be a bit much tbh.

On this seasons form, he’d get his pants halfway down, trip over, smash his teeth out, then blackout until Plod turned up.

I thought that was a piss take, but joyously it's not

My guess is that he’s had it, and is going to publicly slag the fuck out of everyone who’s pissed him off, resign, mic drop, then stride off out of there.

Because, if not, and he’s actually going to apologise, this is the funniest thing about The Cunts in a season filled with comic moments.

Sky made a thing about this and how 'United have a big part to play in the race for the CL football'

Talk about creative Man United content.

Just watched MOTD. The tribute to Lineker was class, made me remember that Lineker roomed with Shilton in the  England squad until Shilts retired in 1990. Every single morning Lineker made him a cup of tea because Shilton was Leicester’s goalie when Lineker’s dad first took him to Filbert Street :D

Aye, canny impressive to have two very successful careers right at the top of your field. You could say he's onto a third with his podcast empire, but it's still broadcasting really.

Wonder if someone else will snap him up for the World Cup.

I think the three that are coming in to replace him are decent enough.

I could see him taking next season off then popping up somewhere for the world cup. That was his plan anyway iirc.

Hes 64 so he might just call it a day with tv

I think he’s been a big investor in Goalhanger Podcasts for a long while before he got involved himself.

There’s a few very popular podcasts on there.

I’m sure he’ll be back on TV soon too.

Aye I read about that. They run rest is politics poddy too.

I think Andrew is right. He has his poddy so will continue on that but won't rush into anything. He doesn't need to.
