Yeah good film and interesting link. Would be class if it turns out to be true, but probably not.

Hope he had things planned for every major anniversary of his death. 50th anniversary should see them wheel out an identical looking robot only for Jerry Lawler to run out and give him a piledriver through the floor.

Juan of the Dead some Spanish language Zombie Apocalypse story set in Cuba.

Was highly amusing although was difficult to keep up at times as they speak so damned fast and the subtitles seemed to whip along at similar speed.

The "I want to see a last dawn", rooftop scene was one of the funniest things I've seen in ages.

Saving Me Banks. 10/10

No surprise that I'm a Poppins fan, so no surprise that I would live this film. But....

What a great film in so many ways. Ten minutes in you know you're in for a luscious story told well. The characters are great, the acting is great and you're soon excited to see how these two worlds can come together.

As others have said as well, the audio at the end is excellent.

Elysium. Absolute shit. 2/10

It had the potential to be good though - I think the first half, where they were setting it up as all of the poor revolting against the rich, was quite appealing - but then they transformed the bad guy into some psychotic bounty hunter and it became a generic action film rather than one with an underlying poiltical message.

Dracula - Hammer version that was on the other night. Didn't enjoy it much at all despite Peter Cushing being very good.

Sightseers - second film I've seen of Ben Wheatleys recently and I've really enjoyed them both with this edging Kill List. I've got A Field In England recorded too so I'm looking forward to that.

Troll Hunter - more of a comedy than I was expecting but probably the best example of the found footage film I've seen.

American Hustle - One of the best films I've seen in ages. Really funny and excellently acted. Like the fact that Amy Adams didn't own a single top with buttons on it.

Upstream Color - Latest from the director of Primer. Not a clue what was going on.

Is CLoud Atlas any good?

Really wonderful film.

Criminally overlooked last year and very badly marketed (mainly due to length, cost overhangs and studio cowardice).

The Suomni (the cloned fast food worker who escapes) parts are especially brilliant. It is of course flawed and over long but there is really nothing better than a flawed work where the symphony is kind of lost at times cause the vision is magnificent and refuses be boiled down to the cinematic language. One of my fav films of last year.

Watch it a couple of times.

Seeing that slave film tomorrow can't wait.

The makers must be gutted Mandela died, before then they were pretty much a shoe in for Oscar glory, weren't they?
