Old man ALL CAPS alert!

Anyway, I'm also an old cunt but don't want to be seeing new shit in the Transfers thread that gets my hopes up only to read some bullshit about a band in 1883 that you enjoyed getting jiggy too. Isn't that what the General Bullshit thread is for?

CN is saying that we're currently talking (or thinking about talking) to Burnley, Forest and Brighton to make a three pronged bit for Trafford, Elanga and Pedro.  But if either of the latter two come off, it may end our interest in the other.  Not sure this is any more helpful than the old men arguing mind.

Was that article before the £45mil bid was rejected for Elanga or after?

I remember back in the summer of 69, around the time I got my first real six-string, players didn't sell for anywhere near the amount they're going for these days. Moneys gone mental these days, really miss the vibe back then, evenings at the drive-in, playing in a band, those were the best days of my life. :cuppa:

Article dated today.

I saw Luke Edwards out walking his dog on MY dog walking patch at Weetslade a couple of weeks ago. A very friendly greeting was exchanged, but nothing further than that.

They nicked that first line from Channel 9 on the Fast Show.

Also nice to see John Belushi’s Greek cousin on the drum.

If this means the end of pope I'll be a little sad. But if we can get a decent price for him then that softens that

The reality is that with Dubravka being 36 and Pope being 33, we've got to start thinking towards the future. I expect one of them to move on this summer and the other remain as a more than capable understudy. Trafford has the potential to be England number 1 in my view. His clean sheet stats over his career are hugely impressive.

Agree and Pope imo is the one we will get a decent amount for.
