Wouldn’t an orthopaedic specialist be more appropriate? Am sure the physios are the first line of assessment but the final call should really go to a suitably qualified doctor? If the head physio misses the issue, doesn't make a specialist referral or ask for a scan, and then 2 games later Botman blows his knee out, whose fault is it? It's all conjecture anyway. Howay 12476 Posted January 2 Share Posted January 2 Honestly not sure whose at fault but it sounds like this bloke has been out on paternity for a substantial amount of the 13 months he’s been at the club, and also didn’t move his family up so was traveling back south a lot - seems it was more a poor fit? Whoever is in charge of that side of things has been doing a shite job anyway, Botman is only one example of consistently rushing players back from injury - Isak and Murphy have both been rushed back before making their injuries worse this season.
