I hope we’ve got a replacement by then. And a new CB. To be honest we should not be selling to those cunts for any amount of money! not even 250m they can fuck off. Both the club and isak have made a right cunt out of Howe, firstly Howe being under the impression that isak was going on the tour as recently as Saturday, then the club putting out that bollocks of a thigh injury excuse. They have both taken howe and the fans for mugs.
aimaad22 6001
What an absolute shit show. If Isak wants to leave he can fuck off, I dont get why he waited till almost August and for Liverpool and Arsenal to sign strikers before doing this though. Did our lack of activity influence the decision? Who knows. I'd personally be okay with a major player leaving, we knew it would happen eventually. Even the likes of Man Utd and Liverpool have lost their starts to bigger clubs. If managed right one could use the sale to improve the squad on the whole, but you can't see us doing that right now with the vaccum at the top of the club and I just can't disconnect from what a monumental shit show our leadership has become, for a second consecutive summer. Eales can fuck off too All this on the back of our best season in 70 years. If we hadn't won a trophy or qualified for the CL safe to say the club would be filing for administration right now the way this lot have managed things. Right ticked off by this circus And Isak should know to stfu and get his act together unless Liverpool stump up 160M or so.

Diego21 2465
And if I have to give my opinion, take the money and run. I don't want anyone who doesn't want to be on my team. Isak is a magnificent player, but we can also have new magnificent players. And, besides, he's a player who gets injured too often. That's right. I'm not going to sell him off. Do you think you're very good? So good that you shouldn't play for Newcastle, who are going to play in the Champions League? Do you think your potential lies in going to Liverpool and trying to win it all? Fine, but then they're going to have to pay £130-£140 million. And with that money, I'm going to find a new star forward (Sesko would be a perfect fit). Osimhen also seems like a good option. And I'm also going to try to bring in a competitive player on loan with an option to buy, who's really hungry because he's very good but has had a few bad years (Darwin Nuñez, Gabriel Jesús).

RandyWatson 164
"You can make the case for selling Isak. And people will. The money brought in would potentially free them up to spend heavily to improve the squad over the next two years. There would be no PSR constraints to speak of, but then you have to factor in that Real Socieded negotiated a sizeable sell-on clause in the £63m deal that brought Isak to St James’ Park back in 2022. Even a sale at £120m-£130m would only bring in around £50m-£60m of profit. It is not quite the game-changing amount people think" From Luke Edwards in the Telegraph. The sell on clause is 10-15% of any capital gain, Edwards' sums are wrong. (As per our resident Spanish guru).

But if Tonali, Gordon, Joelinton and Bruno are all on £150kpw, how do you put Isak on £300k without their agents all asking for the same?
Kid Dynamite 9340
I'd sell him, to anyone other than Liverpool. I'd drive him to PSG myself. He's never going to be worth more than he is now. He was off the boil at the end of the season. "IF" we can bring in £130m + and replace him with Wissa and Sesko with cash left over, if not be too disappointed. Im not sure I can cope with getting beat off Liverpool first game of the season with Isak, Ekitike, Wirtz and Salah all starting in attack.

We can definitely come out of this a better team if we reinvest the money properly. I just wish it wasn't to those scouse bamps.
