I expect their final cunt move to be letting this all stew for 4 weeks and then offer us 80m on deadline day.

Yeah, but I think we can tell the bin dippers to fuck off. at that point. If the Sesko deal doesn't happen (which I expect it won't) then we'll be up shit creek without a paddle. I think we'll get Wissa but it will be right at the last minute, which by my calculations will leave us with a sulking Isak or Osulu to play for the first few games of the season.

fwiw I think you guys should hang onto him regardless too.

at the end of the day if i was you, i'd probably sell him if offered 150m. not sure how much less i'd accept.

I’d take £150m for him regardless if he was unhappy - providing we could get some quality replacements in, but for some reason we can’t seem to sell ourselves.

I reckon we'd sell ourselves no bother. But if we tried to buy ourselves we'd end up on Chelsea's bench.

Then they'd be doing so with absolutely zero intention of actually buying him which might actually focus the daft cunt's mind a bit and make him realise he's been had.

Agree, but we need to get at least one replacement in before we buy.  If not we have a premium added to the price as we are seen as 'flush'

I go back to what i said earlier. If Liverpool come calling, the price is £180m plus £50m in add ons and a 25% sell on clause. Anything less, and off ye fuck peasant Scousers!

Downie says he checked on Monday and Isak hadn't been at the training ground for days, and hasn't been there since Monday. I'd be amazed if he's still in the country so the above makes sense.

Probably bordering on fining his wages although that’d only end up expediting his exit further

Nobody other than the Saudis are paying that kind of money.  Everyone knows he wants out & Newcastle don't want or need  an unhappy player pissing of the rest of the squad so logic says that a price both clubs can live with will be found.  Playing hardball with a player just scares away prospective signings.

Hard to believe Isak has turned into this, no real signs of it - having a laugh on the stage at the cup celebrations, the new third shirt ad and all the NUFC short videos. Got to be his agent behind it.

Regardless, £150m for a player that's been anonymous for months and every match looks like he's going to go off injured would be good business... But, only if we sign 2 strikers to replace him - Sesko and Wissa would do me, but I doubt we'll see it.

Another example of PSR keeping us behind though, we basically can't afford to give him £250k even though we've got unlimited finances.

Need a quick resolution to it all

If he can find the bottle to turn up at SJP on the 25th of August, is the reaction going to match Owen’s? I can see it but with a side helping of 90 minutes of further anger directed toward anyone in a red top

IF he goes to Liverpool before then and Slot has anything about him, Isak will be absent from SJP.

IF he's back for us I don't think Howe will have him at SJP as he will still 'working his fitness up after the thigh strain'
