We can't replace Isak and Wilson with Wissa (who's not even signed yet, and if he does had all the excitement sucked out of it similar to Elanga) and the hope that Osula develops in a hurry. We give him a couple of days and if he's still umming and ahhhing/waiting on Man Utd then we set him a deadline and start preparing to sign someone else. If we fail to bring someone in it's not exaggeration to say it will be catastrophic for our season. We need to make an impression in the champion's league and qualify for Europe (preferably CL, but EL is OK if we go OK in the CL) anything less is a back slide and only makes it more difficult to progress. Aye I'm probably just trying to be more hopeful than I should. At the end of the day, even if it works out the way I hope, we still end up with a lad that's not thrilled to be here.
Gemmill 63272
Right lads. Something Keith Downie keeps mentioning. If it came down to it, would we do a deal where Nunez ends up here and Isak goes there. He looked class before he went there, and I'm sure Eddie could do something with him. But it would definitely be a significant downgrade. What say you? And sometimes, maybe the fans, who pay the wages of these overpaid pampered "superstars" who are lost in their own reality bubble and don't understand how in the real world you have honour contracts you have willingly signed up to, may think FUCK YOU AND YOUR WHINING. Honestly man, what a fucking disgraceful article. As if a 5 year contract is abnormal and we are the only club that does this. Somehow the complete standard practice we operate will put off these prima donna arsehole players from coming to the club because.... eh? Get fucked Romano you shit sturring cunt. It would be a downgrade but I think he is a confidence player and if he constantly gets game time then I think he’d score quite a few. He is also athletic enough for our press and lightening quick. Expect him to miss a few howlers but he tends to make a lot of chances himself with his own pace and positioning. id take him at the right price.

Nunez will be our last one left in the nightclub at 3am type gear.

He's never had a proper run with the dippers and he has played numerous positions. Oh and he's had his hair cut and looks a cunt now.
Craig 12388
20 minutes ago, Gemmill said: The only thing with the Sesko situation is that if Man United are set on signing a striker this window, if they can't get into a position where they can afford him then at some point they have to pivot to a different option. And it has to be in enough time to sign that option. So I do wonder if they don't have to give up on Sesko a bit sooner than we're currently thinking. It's why, if the club are resigned to losing Isak, I think we should be rocking up there and offering the full €75m. I don't think Man Utd are in a position to do so, nor likely to unless they get rid of 1-2 big names off their payroll.
Holden McGroin 9910
Sesko isn’t happening lads. We all know it deep down. Watkins is too expensive who left can fill the void? im happy with Wissa but we need a top striker as well. Jon Dhuran would have been a decent signing on loan but he has gone to Turkey, Do we panic buy or try to keep an unhappy Isak and have a massive PR job ? im putting money on DCL wearing black and white next year. Aye, I've pretty much given up on Sesko already. Remember last month when we were all expecting a raft on continental deals to be on the go in the background. Bruno, Tonali and Isak esque players. Turns out we just put bids in for the best players at Ipswich, Brentford, Brighton, Burnley and Wolves and were shocked when other clubs were interested in them too.

Isak missed quite a few very good chances as well, normally went on to score in games where that happened. Nunez does have the physical attributes to fit in our system but gives the impression that he's a bit of a jerk. If he was to come here surely that great motivation for both him and Eddie to improve and possibly best Isak's contributions elsewhere. If we signed him for 5 years that would take him to 29 with a year to run which is probably a good time to sell a striker who relies on their athletic ability. I'd rather Sesko though given his age, but we run the risk with him developing and wanting away similarly to Isak.
Renton 27796
I think we have to act hard on Isak personally and only release him for top dollar when we have at least one but preferably two replacements in his positional area. If he doesnt train, or play, fine him. He has as much to lose as us. Also remember every player is an injury away from missing a season, so regardless we have to be more robust. We lost Tonali for a whole season due to unforeseen circumstances. Never let a player get bigger than the club. Fuck him.
