I’m serious though. Have him sit there for every match, including the CL games and watch Sesko wearing the no.9 shirt and banging goals in.

A real “look at what you could have won”

Every player in world football would be watching thinking "well I'll not be signing for Newcastle"

Other that that. REALLY GOOD IDEA.

I reckon if he stays they'll write a narrative around him slotting back in one way or another. I still doubt the situation is that badly deteriorated behind the scenes. Howe could play it off as Isak vs hierarchy rather than the manager or team.

Aye, Howe will be smart enough to stay out of it and avoid burning any bridges with the player.

Yeah that policy would have its downsides, agreed.

I fucking hate the way some players can ensure they get what they want simply by acting like a cunt. If Howe’s found out his whereabouts only via the media, the player has effectively gone on strike.

Plan B then - he reports for training on Monday, Joelinton snaps him in two and we DPD him off to Anfield held together by parcel tape.

I really hope he just fucks off now. No mending bridges with me. All the PR in the world ain’t going to mask the way he’s gone on.

We've got Bruno in the middle, He knows Isak is a snake,

Botman at the back, Osula in attack, Joelintons gonna see what he can break.

The closed room convo between him and Eddie on Monday will be box office, and that’s before Mad Dog is let loose on him.

All eyes now on whether he even turns up. I'm sure Liverpool and his agents are telling him to stay away to force the sale.

He will, he has to now be thinking about what happens if we don't sanction the move. Which means he needs to be best foot forward until the next opportunity to go at the very least.

Sulking just lowers his sale value for us but also his contract wherever that may be and theres a world cup he wants to play in next summer.

Logic would dictate that you're right, but I think it'll depend on the quality of the advice that he's getting from people around him this weekend. And the advice so far this summer doesn't seem to have been that good.

We'll see though, I hope he does the right thing.

Do you think we'll see Isak on the traing ground on Mondday training with the squad. I think we will (well I'm hoping we will) imagine having Isak & Sesko up front fed by Elenga & Gordon on the wingers (2 of the fastest players in football) teams will be shitting themselves.

I think if we get Sesko, Isak will go and we’ll look to secure Wissa as well.

I think once he gets in amongst the team it might settle fairly quickly. Tripps and Gordon have both expressed sympathy and that they're there for him if it ends up that he stays, they're big voices in the dressing room.

It'll all be handled behind closed doors, some apologies to the lads and whatnot and they'll get back to business, they're high level athletes and incredibly competitive, the team will want a fit and firing Isak to feed.

Gordon spoke about his experience last summer, in the interview he did with Hope published yesterday, its well worth a read.

Trippiers was a few days ago saying along the lines of "alex has my phone number and knows Ill always be there if he needs me, all he has to do is call"

Newcastle have made a formal bid to RB Leipzig for striker Benjamin Sesko.

Sky Sports News understands the offer is €75m (£65.5m) plus €5m (£4.3m) in add-ons - which matches Leipzig's valuation

To be fair with insight like that, you can understand why they asked her opinion.

If only someone told me that, without an engine, my car wasn't going to go far, I wouldn't be on to my 5th car in a week.
