They all think that though.  Not saying he's not a cunt but I don't think you can really cite this a strong example of it.

Hes been on strike since early preseason and has missed the actual start of the season.

If he still thinks he should have a loyalty bonus after that I'd say it marks a pretty strong example of it.

I think it's fairly obvious that he'll never play for the club again - and that's the club's position, not just his.

This is all about how he exits, and what the ramifications of it downstream are, IMO.

I wouldn't be surprised if the club are now exploring their legal options. I also wouldn't be surprised if they have a dogged determination to ensure he fails to come out of this with his desired outcome (i.e. a transfer to Liverpool this window).

We could play hardball back now and say Saudi or rot for a season.

Well only in the sense that all players are cunts as they all think that.  Fortunately they don't all go on like he has as well.  Mind you're still getting reporters on sky sports news saying it's hypocritical saying what he's done so far is any worse than what goes on all the time in transfers.  Nowt like encouraging players to be cunts more than they are already.  Of course I've no doubt this wouldn't be their opinion if it was a player at one of their precious big 6 doing what Isak has done.

I think in fairness isak has had his critics over the last month or so, not enough mind, but the odd one or two, notably jordan have pretty scathing.

what fuck's me off the most about the entire thing is how his suitor has escaped any kind of criticism whatsoever as far im aware. the narrative has always been well they've done nothing wrong, all they've done is bid for a player.

which is why id rather the skinny cunt was crippled and never kicks a football again than be allowed to join that scum club.

Much as we'd all love to see him rot it's not gonna happen. Howe is done with him and won't want him hanging around like a bad smell. Time to move on.

Why not? He's not interacting with the squad and we simply fine him every time he puts a foot wrong so doesn't cost us anything in wages.

No but he'll still be around and will still generate gossip and news stories. Eddie and the players have done an amazing job of staying focused on the job but a clean slate is required to properly move forward. I never want to hear his name again in relation to the toon and that's not gonna happen if we keep him and let him rot.

are you keen enough to see him gone to be at ease with both him and the murderers getting their own way?

No but I'd rather Eddie and the team are in the best place to push on, and IMO that's best served by him fucking off. As long as we get the fee we want of course, anything less then we should keep him and send a message to other clubs that we won't be forced to sell players below their value.

When the dippers offer below our requirements the “which boot do you want?” Joke will carry much more weight.

“No, seriously. We’ve got them in the chest freezer in the hospitality kitchen.”

I’d rather he was crippled in the first training session at Liverpool

I'll be very VERY surprised if Yassir/PIF will take any option that looks anything like a loss. Anything shy of £150 Mill will be trumpeted loudly as a NUFC loss/scouse win.

It's just not "arab" to take a reputational hit, real or perceived to their pride and they are incredibly proud, and that's just average joe arab, I suspect a fucking Sheikh is a tad more sensitive to these things.

That's the wildcard for me, getting £130 Mill to cut the cancer out sounds good but it's a loss at the end of the day.

going on strike and refusing to play for the opening three games of the season is a pretty strong example of a player acting the cunt. Players agitate for moves all the time but I’m struggling to remember the last time a PL player downed tools to this extent - Van Hoijdunk maybe?

I don't think we're gonna get £150m for him, and as satisfying as it sounds I don't think the "make him rot" thing is an option either.

Honestly I think £150m was largely a "not for sale" sign, rather than a number that we expected to get paid. Once we decide that he is for sale, £130m is more like what the actual price will be.

With that £130m though it allows us to spend c£300m every window for the next 15 years though doesn't it?  Just like the dipper.s

£130m with £20m of almost impossible addons would be the face saving part of it for the Saudis IMO. Up to £150m will be framed as £150m from our side.

I agree with most of what Edwards has said, other than his claim it is "weak". I think that's unfair, and he would be better off majoring in the fact that the club didn't realise that Alexander Isak was such an amoral piece of shit.

nah.

it would be as weak as fuck.

sends out all the wrong signals.

give the skinny cunt and the murderers what they set about engineering.

completely ignores the 3 years remaining on his contract.

allows him and his agent to walk away with loyalty bonuses.

been no formal transfer request.

has undermined our transfer window.

shown a complete disregard for the club, team mates and support.

not weak actually. more pitiful and pathetic.
