"Little squirt" also used.

He's right that the ownership should have got involved sooner than now, such that Isak understood that going on strike wasn't an option that was available to him.

That isn't what you said. You were on about putting out statements to say he wasn't for sale.

Understandable that memory is an issue at your age though, so we'll let this pass without further comment.

The inference he's making that we're pussyfooting around him is correct mind you and is probably the main criticism I've got of the way the club have handled this. Jordan's right - what Isak is doing, and is getting away with, is a fucking outrage.

On a different note, that screengrab of Jordan is not one he's going to be thankful for

I was just coming on to post that. Comparing it to striking workers standing up for themselves too btw.

He'll get opportunity to read my response to it, the Scouse tit.

Seriously, bringing striking workers into it. Has he any comprehension of the last 40 years on Tyneside? Rhetorical question, obviously.

Telegraph reporting that Isak has repeated his desire to be allowed to join Liverpool who are yet to submit a bit that even comes close to our valuation.

The penny's still not dropping with him, is it?

He must be convinced there's another bid coming. I reckon as soon as we land a striker, even if it's the Wilson replacement, Liverpool will pull the trigger.

He is holding his nerve and calling our bluff. It’s only another 6 days. He won’t back down if the thinks there is still a chance.

Exactly. I sort of don't understand the idea we could get a commitment from him this week. Why blink now when he's already done the unthinkable?

It's the reality of still being under contract on Sept 2nd that will change things.

Maybe that's what the talks were set up for though, start that process. I mean the club must know if it's going to budge on this or not, they're the only ones who actually can know what is going to happen here.

Let's face it, if Liverpool are preparing to place another bid, he's likely to be made aware of it by them so it's plausible.

The Keegan comparison is ridiculous. Firstly, Keegan had a release clause in his contract and secondly they got a British record fee for him. They didn’t just let an unsettled player walk out the door out of the goodness of their heart.
