Holden McGroin 1969
Good first episode. Nothing too exciting, nothing too embarrassing. Solid start. And not one mention of Sunderland. They'll be fewming. Edited August 11 by Holden McGroin

The Fish 6710
Dunno if Shearer was the best choice for narrator... Can't help feel that there's a much better story to be told, it's all very bland and not particularly revealing (which is to be expected, I guess). Howmanheyman 20976
Watched it and still think I'd rather they didn't bother, canny enough but I think these things you're setting yourself up for a fall. Obviously it's going to get better when the run in starts. One bit of kudos for the producers is the Newcastle fans shown were non of the usual fame hungry cunts which makes me feel glad knowing the usual suspects will be telling everyone how much they're loving watching the show but knowing inside they'll be gutted they weren't asked to be on it.
ewerk 21938
I found the Staveley/Ghodoussi sex scenes a bit gratuitous tbh.

The way Wrexham did their show and how Sunderland did theirs was to focus on the personalities first, and introduce the story of the football club through their eyes. Like, start with sit downs with a couple of players, Staveley, and some fans. Given how fast they've rattled through the season, I dunno how they're going to stretch it out for another 3 episodes. Holden McGroin 1969
Wrexhams was 18 episode to be fair. Didn't they only start filming ours in January ? Im assuming ep 2 will be on the cup final then 3 and 4 will be the run-in.
The Fish 6710
You're probably right. We'll get the Cup final, the Spurs game, will surely feature, then the Brighton game (which felt like the confirmation of the CL even though it wasn't mathematically).
