He's out for the season isn't he?

Went to Barcelona last week for an injection in his knee, which is a weird choice if there isn't at least some thought of him playing again.

Liverpool

Bastions of footballing integrity Liverpool Football Club (tm) absolutely chucking in their last 3 games of the season now they've got the league won and booing "one of their own" because he has the audacity to want to leave.

As per, high as fuck on their own self-righteousness.

As ridiculous as it is that one of Spurs or Manu will end up in the CL; I think we're missing how likely hilarious it will be trying to see the winner cope with the CL next season. If it's Manu they will likely throw more money at it and dig themselves deeper into the ground. Their problems won't be resolved by one or two good signings.

There's more comedic value to be had from these two next season either way.

It's hard to see how they come at the Premier League next season with the belief that they can qualify for the Champions League again. They've been so far off the pace, have shown no heart outside the of the Europa League and have extremely deep seeded problems throughout the club.

They're regressing whilst clubs like us and Aston Villa are moving quickly in the other direction.

Man United aren't the drawcard they once were for players so they've subsequently paid extremely high wages to bring players in. At the same time they've failed to get consistent performances from anyone whether they've been more experienced players or players bought on their potential (and paid according to their potential too). They don't have a style or identity in the pitch because their squad is Frankenstein's monster from various manager's tenures. They'll struggle to have anyone that can be sold - noone will pay the excessive wages to unproven players or players past their prime and despite the media's best efforts to promote their young players, the table doesn't lie. A line of managers have failed to fix the intrinsic problems and the owners, despite spending heavily, have managed to all but destroy the relationship with the supporters.

Tottenham's problems aren't as deep seeded because they've always been very tight with their wage structure. That said they've run out of cash cows players they can sell to fund other purchases so no European income next season will hurt their rebuild immensely. Having seen them bottle many important games this season I can't see how they will beat Man Utd who have some spammy ability to win stuff.

A lot of defending Liverpool fans by pundits this morning. "It was only a minority and boos are always louder than claps", I've heard multiple times.

Well boos are louder than claps when no one bothers their arse to clap, but if it was only a minority it should have been very easy for a majority to completely drown them out. It didn't happen cos they're shitcunts who can't believe he's had the nerve to want to go to a bigger and better club.

They’re free to boo Trent if they want. Madrid are cunts and they pull this trick regularly due to their aura & pull. Whether that makes them “bigger and better” am not sure. There would be less noise this  morning though if their online support hadn’t reacted like a bunch of fuckin infants when those who booed in the ground were criticised.

There’s an account with 10s of 1000s followers I saw last night where they’d quoted some other self righteous prick who praised the “mafioso” (they used that precise word) nature to TAA’s entrance on to the pitch yesterday, as if to say “ok you cunts still here, let that be a lesson to you, none of you cunts had better not do the same or you’ll get the same treatment” . This in a city where gangsters run wild shooting children and young adults with impunity. Can’t find it now, Tony somebody? (Not Tony Evans from the Anfield Wrap) but it fuckin beggars belief.

Wasn't the issue he deliberately ran his contract down so Real get him for free and presumably he gets paid a fortune? Anyone is free to ply their trade where they want, but I'd not be happy with say Isak leaving for free.
