Kevin Carr's Gloves 4484
Am I the only one who thought he was better on the wing than through the middle v Brum?

OTF 8969
Now that he's got the Joelinton hair Howe was able to reinvent him. Bit taller than your average winger, but brings great physicality and directness on the strength of that game. If Wilson can stay fit Osula is more likely to get time on the pitch substituting for Murphy which is surely why Howe gave him a run there.
spongebob toonpants 4618
He definitely looked to bring some pace aggression and energy to the wing going forward. Not in anyway convinced he's got the concentration or discipline to actually play in the defensive part of the system though Having said that If anyone can break him in Eddie can

wykikitoon 24263
He was more involved on the wing due to how we were playing. I really enjoyed watching him.

Dougle 3941
Why did he get booked? Assaulted, more times than I could be arsed to count, the thugs wearing blue getting upset that the lad had a bit of skill, then fucking five or six of the cunts surrounding him after a tackle in which their cunt was the aggressor, then he and only one of their skill less wankers get a booking. 🤷♀️

Agreed, though. His booking was ridiculous anyway but even more so in the context of what else went on.
thebrokendoll 11123
sure I remember reading at the time that this kid was a tindall recommendation based on him having worked with him in the past? could've taken a punt on him either as a striker or on the right wing yesterday and it's difficult ro believe he'd be as ineffective as isak or murphy, but playing 2nd fiddle to wilson who's getting paid for fucking nowt during the last few months of his contract. kid must be worse than useless in training if even tindall wasn't prepared to give him some time yesterday. Holden McGroin 8221
it’s pretty hard and harsh to judge him on his appearances so far but I’m going to anyway. 😀 He has only really looked okay v lower league opposition. He looks a fish out of water when he has come on in the PL. To be fair, Wilson has looked even worse. His body must have finally given up on him but he is just a poacher so might be needed if we ever need a late goal and are piling on the pressure. Kid Dynamite 8075
Watching him play the last two games for Denmarks U21s, it's a travesty Wilson was getting game time ahead oh him tbh

When he was on the pitch the last couple of games for us for the 10 or so minutes he was lively and causing nervousness in the opposition. He is still very raw but he needs game time to get that sorted.
Holden McGroin 8221
He needs to have a season on loan somewhere. Hopefully a lower PL team.

Holden McGroin 8221
Agreed. We ideally should have a quality squad, deep enough so we don’t need to rely on him at this stage of his development.
Dougle 3941
He needs to stay here and continue to benefit from our training regime. Not bloody Leeds or Burnley’s. Just needs more game time, rather than a worn out Wilson. Since when recently have we loaned a player out that has come back successfully for us? Matty Longstaff? Garang Kuol? Minteh? Anderson? Murphy perhaps, but surely the lad just needs some confidence building trust from the management.
Holden McGroin 8221
Wilson is surely gone. We cant be relying on Willy O to be a champions league level striker when the inevitable Isak injury happens. Dougle 3941
Absolutely correct but loaning the lad out to a Leeds or Hibs doesn’t help our squad, we need strength in depth and he needs to gain more pitch time with us. A world class striker and a young apprentice is not the answer. We need to add to the squad in that department and have needed to for some time

We need to add to the squad in that department and have needed to for some time that’s why mbueno would have been a good fit - a wide player who is comfortable covering CF so Osula could continue as third choice CF and a wild card option out wide. I agree he should stay to aid his development but we need more depth across the front line so we’re not relying on him too heavily Edited 6 hours ago by Dr Gloom
