Piece of piss that. And I've been completely confident about this one all weekend.

Double over Man United. Beat Arsenal three times and counting. Beat Liverpool in a cup final.

The worm is turning.

This is a fair point tbh, we are starting to win the games we'd historically struggle with. It's noticeable now.

Their GK coach does not look fit to be in the job as well. I have never thought I could do a better job than someone in sport until I saw him,  for the first time, the last time we played them.

It is like a grandad warming the bairn up in the park.

Amorim (Manchester United manager): ‘It’s hard to win against these top teams like Newcastle’

Drink it in lads.

I don't get the questions of Amorim. It would have been more of a shock if they had beat us today.

Man U are not a force any more and we are.

Two games past the cup final which were wins as well.

Disgraceful performance. We missed the chance to win 5-1 and the beautiful symmetry that would have brought on Keegan day. I know he's on his sick bed, but that's no excuse. Howe needs to consider his position.

Louise Taylor has filed her match report from St James’ Park. So that’s my cue to go for a walk and ask myself why, aged seven, I decided to support Manchester United. They fully deserved to lose to Newcastle, who are on a roll at just the right stage of the season. Congratulations to them and all good wishes to Eddie Howe. Thanks for your company, correspondence and considered views on Ruben Amorim, who simply has to win the Europa League now.

Whese Keys outs herself as a Manc.

I'm wondering if Amorim played Bayindir today in order to show everyone why he has to play Onana next week. Of the two of them, Onana might well be better...

Let the Sky inquest into Man U continue. Next to nowt about how we outplayed and outfought them and focus on Man U’s recruitment mistakes

I’m only still watching so I can hear more about Salah’s contract extension.

Aye, we’re not 5 games into the season and they’ve had an iffy start. There’s a handful of games left and they’re as close to the bottom three as CL qualification. That’s in a year when staying out the bottom three is an extremely low bar. I don’t think they are as shite as the manager would have us believe though. Part of how bad they are is on him
