HUGE question.

Who's starting the thread?

I'll do it if no one else has the balls, but let's not have some absolute fucking no hoper start it as soon as the whistle goes without due consultation.

What are VAR checking?

It either looked like someone grabbed burn or burn kind of looked like he stamped at the goalie.

Meh. I expected worse so it’s not the end of the world.

Unless some strange results we will finish ahead of either Chelsea or Forest regardless of us winning. If the Manc cunts could get their act together then we could end up 5th even in the case of losing. So the point we won against Brighton might be crucial.

We still have it in our own hands by just winning against Everton though.

Frustrating thing is we did enough to win this game. Gave them the ball which they scored from. Anyway we still fought hard and it's all up to us winning at home. No Isak, no Joelinton and plenty of tired legs and bodies will make it tougher, but full trust in Howe and our players.

Big effort in the dying minutes there. Can’t fault the lads. They tried really hard there under fatigue. We’ll murder Everton next week at home.

Praying we have Isak fit. It’s our finishing that has been clearly our weakest facet in recent weeks.

Anyway, unlucky. Great effort. 0-0 would’ve been a fair result. But that’s how it goes.

Spawny bastards

I'm not going to criticise the lads, did enough to win in the first half, but we're stretched so thin we were gassed by half time

One win against Everton who hopefully will be fully on the beach after they had their last game at Goodison

Raya won it for them in the end. That coupled with the Gordon mistake. I’m not even sure I’d rely on him against Everton but if Isak is knackered, our hand may be forced. Thought we were well worth a draw in the end but sometimes it doesn’t go out for you, especially with that bench. Still, we’ve got to win next weekend and I’d expect us to at home against Everton. Big atmosphere and a big performance is coming

Disappointing result but it was always likely to go to the last day. Not a disaster.  It's in our hands, remarkable we got to this position tbh. Second would have been brilliant but you get nowt extra for coming second compared with third, fourth or even fifth. We've been done by injuries again - Hall, Joelinton, Tripper and now Isak. And we're unlucky today.

Can I please make a plea to the many fucking bedwetters on here. Put your big boy pants on, or your tenors for men in CT's case, and support the lads? Nows not the time for faint hearts, now is the time for some support and, if you are at SJP next week as I am, some noise. Howay! :nufc:

I'm talking about you Toonpack and McGroin.

I think you should check my hugely impressive thread starting record and the victories delivered tbh

I am actually in favor of Gemmill starting the match thread against Everton just to secure their relegation.

It's a good idea, about time they went down.

Fucking hell man, Merson's analysis. It's like Sky Pub Zone.
