Big Joe is back isn't he? The front 6 picks itself for me:

Bruno - Tonali - Joelinton
Elanga - Voldermort - Barnes

Howe says on about 28min in the press conference that it's a knee injury but they don't know anything beyond that at the moment.

Maybe he got a bump to it and they can't figure out if it's more than that? Fingers crossed it's nothing serious.

He was running towards the penalty area and it looked like his foot caught in the turf and he fell very awkwardly, non contact situation, stayed down a little while, later on was flexing his leg then he went down again (sat down) and was subbed/limped off.

Hopefully he's just jarred it a bit and it'll have likely swollen up on his flight back here and he'll be ok in short order.

Strand Larsen's missing for them btw, achiles injury per their manager.

Good to see our striker injury curse extends to players we tried to buy (him and Delap). Probably Voldemort doing some horcrux shit.

Anyway, my prediction/ hope: a boring shitty win please.

Thanks, TP. You're always a reliable source of information.

Up front I'd be tempted to go:

Murphy - BFG - Elanga, Woltemade best with runners around him, that three gives him that.

But in all seriousness this is a good shout imo. Elanga scored for Sweden on the international break playing from the LW position. Barnes starting never fills me with an immense amount of enthusiasm. I like him but he always seems better as a substitute. One of the few players we have that fills that impact sub role, in fact. Starting with Elanga left and Murph right looks a lot better, at least to my eyes.

Thiaw is starting if you believe the usual rumour mill. We need to find out if he has a rocket of a shot on him if he’s to replace Schar full time

Is that come from The Mag?

Who the fuck are these players who play for Wolves these days? I realise now that I completely tuned out of who plays for them about 3 seasons ago

No idea tbh, one of them is sponsored by Black Lace evidently.

Really very excited to see Big Nick in the B&W. Seems we’ve been waiting ages. I would love it, love it, if he gets a goal in the first 10 minutes.

Has he got a good goal celebration

Hope he doesn’t do the Shearer arm in the air one. Doesn’t look quite as good on a German lad with a moustache.
