 A charming little vignette of life in your family.

My sister genuinely sent the following to the family whatsapp "I got my jeans on!!! 🥳🥳🥳"

After some very considered but stern words from Mrs Fish I did not reply.

Wifes on the phone to her Aunt.  Wife just been telling her about one of her colleagues.  Mentioned about from WFH and her aunt was all negative about it.  Saying how thats the issue with the councils etc.  My wife WFH twice a week and has done since 2020.  That's not crossed her mind though the utter mong  Oh and yes, shes a Tory.  But she votes them because she's told to.  She still thinks the fucking King runs the country.

One of my first memories is going to watch the Northumbria make its way out of the river from the Lawe top in Shields - It was fucking massive.

I think those really big ones were thought of before the oil crisis in the early 70s and became uneconomic to run so that might be why.

It also had a design fault where the hull was susceptible to cracking and it wasn’t economically viable to repair it. Same with the sister ship built there too.

As an aside do any people remember the Millennium Bridge being brought down the Tyne to be put in place?  The floating crane was fucking huge. Higher than the Tyne Bridge iirc. Look at the height of it compared to the Baltic, man

I’m on day 2 of a week’s company training to get on to the Class 1 ( articulated) wagons.

Still getting to grips with the Dark Arts of reversing the trailer, waiting to back out of a yard in Washy then 90° on to a road.

Hopefully going on to 4-on-4-off next week, run down to Kent then back twice over the 4 days.

Hookers beware!
