  1. Past hour
  2. Why have Labour got it into their heads that they need to eat into the right wing working class? From what I can see on the polling data, it's the Tories who should be panicking about Farage, not Labour. I appreciate that if Farage manages to unite all the orcs under one banner then he will be fairly formidable, but he is never going to completely manage to take all Tories with him, which means he will always be hamstrung to an extent. Labour on the other hand are losing voters to their left, presumably expecting that they'll all come flooding back to prevent Farage taking over. Which may be true to a degree, but not entirely. Or am I wrong, and Labour actually are losing more voters to Farage than they are to this shift to the right?
  3. On the day Farage does a speech saying Reform would lift the 2 child benefit limit, Bridget is rolled out to say "yeah well we were thinking of doing that too". Farage is playing them like a fucking fiddle. You could argue it's easy to do, he's not even the opposition so he can say whatever he likes, but fucking hell Labour look like the bloke with 5 MPs has got them fully on the run.
  4. Thanks for the information on Union SG and Hearts. Saved me having to scroll up 4 posts to where I'd already mentioned it. FER FUCKSSSSSS SAKE I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THESE PEOPLE GOD, PLEASE GIVE ME STRENGTH.
  5. "Dad, what did you do to save the planet?" "Well, I wasted several tons of water on AI art because I thought other people on an internet forum wouldn't be able to understand my complex thoughts without Ladybird picture book-level visuals to accompany them. You're welcome!"
  6. It’s from two years ago and it’s bollocks, especially as sports washing, as time has gone on, has been shown not to really exist in a meaningful way. As someone on that thread commented he’s not bought BHA to distract from any perceived human rights abuses, he’s a bookie ffs. He very likely has fucked people over, you don’t get billions without doing so. His Belgian interest Union Saint Gilloise have just won the league. They loaned their striker Kabangu to Hearts in January, another club Bloom has an interest in. He got 6 in 14, started well but tailed off towards the end. They’ve just appointed Derek MacInnes as coach who is a bit meh but if recruitment can get better due to Bloom there could be good things ahead for @Toonpack’s main mob
  7. I imagine the agents fees Man U pay out have something to do with that. Only Man City & Chelsea paid out more
  8. Either that or they believe they're going to be what turns the club around. It's surely down to poor advice from his agent most likely telling him "you don't turn down a club like Man Utd..." He'd have been far better off moving to an established PL club to cut his teeth further before making the jump to a club where he's likely to be permanently in the spotlight. Everton, Palace, Fulham would surely be far better options for him at this stage.
  9. My Mam had David Soul's album, I can hear 'silver lady' now.
  10. Aye, I thought it a bit odd that he was supposed to have made his money through gambling. Obviously there's much more to it.
  11. Interesting. Especially in light of us being threatened with a rules breach over our relationship with Fun88.
  12. If thats true he's fucking stupid and we're possibly better off without him. Anyone picking man u at the moment is either horribly advised or thick as shit and we don't really need either of those things hanging around the club.
  13. Reported by the Sun so take with a pinch of salt but, supposedly, Delap has agreed a deal with Man United. If true, that’s one of our rumoured targets gone.
  14. Going to get harder and harder for brighton to keep doing it as other PL teams catch up, makes sense to take it to other less difficult leagues.
  15. Today
  16. I see Brighton owner Tony Bloom's investment and data driven approach has just landed Union SG in Belgium their first title since 1935. And he's just received 98% voter approval for a 29% stake in Hearts, and will be looking to do similar there.
  17. Reckon Gyokeres is more likely than Watkins. When Man U wanted to win the title they signed Van Persie, Ollie Watkins isn't firing a team to a league title.
  18. Keith Hackett stoking up the argument about appointing such an inexperienced referee and calling out Michael Oliver being the VAR selection for Tottenham v Brighton and saying that instead, he should have been refereeing at OT. Has he clean forgotten Oliver is a Newcastle fan and therefore wouldn't have been eligible due to conflict of interest? This whole 'he's not experienced enough' arguement is fucking pathetic. He's got his refereeing licence so he's met the threshold to referee that match. And how else do they expect they're going to get experienced if they never give them a big game? Jesus titty Christ!
