  1. Past hour
  2. Odd thing happened when I tried to trade in my phone with music magpie. I know they're robbing bastards but they were offering market value of £200 for my S22+. It's been perfect for 3 years, packed it up in the original box surrounded by bubble wrap, and they replied saying they were only offering £38 as the panel was broken. Pissed off and suspecting they had broken the phone, I asked for it back. Posted back this morning with an arrow pointing to the "fault" and fucked if I can see anything wrong? Got a magnifying glass out, no dead pixels or anything? Do they have some equipment I don't know about or are they just taking the piss?
  3. Yeah it was £1099 though. Google is knocking £300 off £999 + £328 trade in. That’s basically 2/3rds off a £1000 phone as Gemma said the other day…
  4. It's a fair point but it also comes down to what Howe wants. He's the only person holding all of this together at the moment, if he wanted them then we should be committing to his project. I appreciate that we don't know for sure that he did, of course.
  5. The £200 is on top of the trade in value.
  6. 15 year old Max Dowman playing for England U17s and doing this … Rip this lad out of Arsenal’s books right now! https://x.com/PapaPincus/status/1927095025340399906
  7. It's hard to feel too disapointed about players we're linked with signing for man u (aside from that fact that we are linked with everyone, so anyone man u signs we will have been linked with). They'll offer double the wages we will, and a longer contract - with no guarantee that they will continue performing once they've got it (as man u fans should know only too well). For me, there's not much value in signing the overpriced obvious players from the premier league (your Cunhas and Mbeumos etc). Let the stupidy rich clubs blow their powder on those. Our best signings have been quality youngsters from abroad with the right personality (Bruno, Isak, Tonali), or younsters from the premier league where the opportunity was too good to ignore (Hall, Livromento). I'd be happy with a few more signings along those lines, even if it means we don't cover all the obvious gaps in the squad (backup ST, RW competition for Murphy, pacy CB etc) this window. Hopefully an opportunity or two will come from other team's PSR troubles. Or someone at the club (but not Mitchell!?) has eyes on a few from overbroad I've never heard of. Don't care if they don't immediately go into the first team - but hopefully they have the potential to be imprortant players in the next few years for us.
  8. @wykikitoon if you don’t go with JL I’d go with Google, I’ve just done the trade in thing again and it’s £100 more than anywhere else…
  9. Today
  10. Don’t worry lads. He is a professional. Nothing to see. He obviously knew what he was doing.
  11. Declan Rice & Bobby Davro Errrr, I mean Dennis Bergkamp.
  12. Yep I know but Cantona is valid example of a player who has attitude issues but when he's managed right it just all comes together. I'm sure Ginola had, to a lesser extent, similar issues before he signed for us as well.
  13. That day I was looking the Google store price went back up to £999 from £699. They’ve all come back down in price but porcelain is sold out everywhere…am on lots of lists for when they come back into stock…carphone whorehouse says June 19. I think they’ll stay discounted, pixel 10 comes out around Aug 25 ps the best trade in for my iPhone 13 Pro is definitely with the Google store ie £300. John Lewis thing looks misleading to me as it’s valued my phone at just over £200, not an extra £200 (as far as I can make out)
  14. Good man! My sister works for them, I wonder if I could get a further 20% off! #onceayorkshiremanalwaysayorkshireman

  16. Listening to the Rest is football poddy it's not just this season he's had issues though. But yeh, it could take a Howe to sort him out. It's quite funny though, 'a pretty shite Wolves team' that finished above Man Utd.
  17. The minute it’s went public, they’ve dropped their arse and agreed to Wolves’ structure Expert negotiators
  18. There’s absolutely zero doubt it’s Chemical Jim that’s jumped the gun and leaked it.
  19. All that's missing here is Jim Bowen with an arm round the shoulders of Amorim & Ratcliffe walking them away with the immortal words "Have a look at what you could have won..." Great, smashing, super!
  20. @wykikitoon John Lewis are offering an extra £200 on trade in if you’re interested. https://www.johnlewis.com/google-pixel-9-pro-smartphone-android-6-3-5g-sim-free-256gb/p112468801?irclickid=xB%3A32LWv8xyKRF4SKGSfxVZQUksTcFwOnU-ZVU0&irgwc=1&tmcampid=99&s_afcid=af_43360_Discount
  21. So allegedly Wolves are going to reject Man United's approach for Cunha as his release clause stipulates the £62.5m has to be paid in three installments over a 2 year period whereas they're only able to pay it over a 5 year period. Don't they now wish they'd not blown stupid money on utter shit for years on end?!
  22. Last of Us S2 was an unfocused mess, sadly. Characters established and then hardly ever seen, plot threads and major moments just all over the shop with Ellie becoming a completely unlikeable brat, making stupid decisions every episode. Really testing people’s patience with a Season 3 tip-toeing around the same stuff too since it absolutely killed the narrative in the game. Season 1 could have been 7 episodes but was 9 and this was 7 episodes where it could have been 12/13
  23. Zero Day (Robert de Niro) Limited series If you liked 24 or stuff of that ilk, then you’ll probably like this. Gets a 7 on IMDB
  24. Some talk of it being Eddie, but it's all speculation at this stage. Can't imagine the club will leave it long before announcing interim roles else every sodding press opportunity is going to involve the same questions being repeatedly asked.
