  1. Past hour
  2. Hall will be like a new signing through the door.
  3. I’m still feeling sanguine about the transfers. I think we’ll add depth to the positions where we’ve been linked with players - it’s no secret we’re after a RW, a RCB, a CF and a GK. possibly a midfielder too if one of Willock or Longstaff are sold. If we’re still in this position a month from now it’ll be more concerning because Howe said he wants the business done quickly. In my mind that means before pre-season. The weird mini window has probably skewed expectations. We’re still only a week into the “normal” window. Howe has earned the chance to bed the new signings in so it’ll be disappointing from the club if the signings are left to the last minute. When the new signings do land, I also expect them to be players we’ve barely been linked with rather than those that are being peddled by their agents in the media.
  4. Today
  5. I think they were aimed at KD
  6. Not sure if these are aimed at me or not? If they are I'm not getting riled by this transfer window I'm getting riled by the handcuffs put on our club since the takeover which appears to be ongoing unless some cunt properly challenges it's legality?
  7. Think you're right tbh but I think the whole thing is a symptom of Howe seeing off another TD. There again, Mitchell has been here for a month working his notice so am now thinking has an agreed list of transfers ever existed for this window? Who decided we'd wait till this Monday when Villa will apparently sell the likes of Jacob Ramsey to us?? (🤷‍♂️) Howe's "speed" comments must have been aimed squarely at Mitchell. So looking at all that are we still working to a plan laid out by someone who is leaving the business next week?.. we haven't had "speed".. if Eddie had the clout we were thinking he had after the champions league qualification why didn't he tell Eales to put Mitchell on gardening leave for a month and sign a NDA? It's too early to judge obviously but looking at the current situation this is a fuckin dogs dinner and all these fuckers including Howe share a portion of the blame. Did Mitchell come in and immediately see the gig as a power struggle between him and Howe? If he did that's fuckin idiotic. If Howe has gone out of his way to object to things Mitchell has suggested then he's a prick too. Eales seems to be clocking in and taking the money for little in the way of leadership. Weve had our best season in six decades in spite of all this...it really shouldn't be as chaotic as this though...
  8. Given the money involved I’d love to see a foreign team win it.
  9. If I see no movement from us by the end of July I'll start to get a bit miffed but I'm chill AF for once.
  10. As others have said, until 1 July we are still in the old cycle. Yes, others have spent on players Howe would like but until then we are stuck with PSR bargains. I know we could be agreeing deals now for July but even then we can't pay 250k per week which is what others are offering.
  11. We were linked with Botman well before we signed him tbf. We were fighting Milan for him.
  12. Been linked to by press who didn't know fuck all about Botman, Bruno or Sandro. Even Popes signing came out of the blue. It's all speculation probably bar Guehi who that cunt at palace leaked as he wanted a bidding war.
  13. Don't worry, City's 115 charges might mean that there'll be a fire sale......
  14. "Chilling" won't change Howe being pissed off that the players he wanted to sign have gone elsewhere. That's my main issue. Not that we haven't spent yet. There's plenty of time left in the window. But every player we've been linked with thus far is pretty much signed or in the process of signing for another club.
  15. Included transfers organised last summer and some that aren’t even done in that list man
  16. Don't forget as well because of the club world cup shite it's changed the transfer window dates.
  17. The South American lads are saving this tournament like. Especially after embarrassing Chelsea
  18. It's still June, we have "some" money available but we don't have too much room to manoeuvre until July in PSR world. Chill ffs.
  19. Expecting us to move before the PSR deadline and being angry is on you tbh. Howe pretty much came out and said that was the plan. We’ll sniff around the clubs on the cusp of fucking that up before anything else.
  20. I reckon Matt Berry saw these as a kid and he’s built a career on them
  21. All of those clubs you mention are blank cheque clubs despite the occasional noises that they're skint or in PSR trouble. It fucking stinks we're not allowed to invest in the club to grow revenue, absolutely reeks of protectionism which football bodies skirt around or turn a blind eye to because they're scared of losing those clubs. Where the fuck do the football authorities get the notion that it's perfectly acceptable to draw a line in football's ever changing sands at some point this century and say 'that's it, these are our selected clubs from now on and it can't change bar temporary blips which can be put right'. Honestly, football really fucks me off these days and the media don't help to put it mildly, the likes of Liverpool, Man U etc should list the the likes of sky and TNT as actual partners because they've played their part in the growth of those clubs over the years and it's actually getting a lot worse. I sometimes wish I could take out the NUFC chip in my brain and toss it all off at times.
  22. It's time we sold Hayden to a PIF sister club for £300 million.
  23. It does feel like those at the top of the club appear to just be treading water. No major transfers in ages, no movement on a new stadium or training ground. Eddie Howe is the man holding it all together. The sooner we get a new CEO in the better.
  24. It's still early days in the window man. Chill
