City seem to have got themselves back together somewhat, haven't lost in over a month, through to the cup final. I'm expecting them to go unbeaten to the end of the season now. Wolves are indeed the form team in the league but they have also played the 6 worst teams in the league one after another. Chelsea will lose to liverpool, they've also got us and forest in the run in all capable to taking points from one another but any loss in that run in is devastating for them. Forests run in is pretty easy but they've also been dropping off pretty hard and I wonder if its just got a bit beyond them by now. For my money it is Us and City in 3rd and 4th with Chelsea and Forest potentially having a play off on the final day of the season.

This is objectively wrong, equal parts or everything by weight. Plus salt. Gravy sounded nice but everyone in the uk disregards vinegar in their cooking, it elevates everything. Splash of red wine vinegar in that would blow you smelly socks off

Just had a peek at the fixture list and I think we have a reasonably good round of games coming up too in terms of who our rivals are playing. City v Wolves City are much improved but Wolves are the form team in the league. That's a very tough game for City. I'd still pick City but it wouldn't be surprising to see Wolves get a result. City are still not the team they once were. Big chance for Wolves to prove a point about their recent form. Chelsea v Liverpool There's every chance Liverpool down tools now. It's undoubtedly the best time to play them all year. But Liverpool are streets ahead of the competition for a reason. They're class. And Chelsea are fuckin shit, especially so with Palmer's recent dip in form. Has one goal in 16 games or something I think. You'd think even a severely hungover Liverpool has a good chance against Chelsea. Crystal Palace v Forest Palace into a first FA Cup final since Pardew's dancing nonsense. Conversely Forest just knocked out. Could go either way. But hopefully Palace can carry their form into this match & catch Forest feeling a bit sorry for themselves. I'd lean towards that being the most likely scenario: Palace carrying their cup heroics into the next match home game. Villa v Fulham This is the outlier. Outside of playing a relegated team this is likely the easiest fixture in the PL at the moment. At home to a team on the beach for months now. Shit club derby. Battle of the terminally boring. Villa likely win, obviously, but the fact they lost at the weekend means they are on the verge of being out of the running for the CL anyway. One more bad result for them probably ends their chances.

Watching motd2 and the “atmosphere” At Brighton is shocking, sounded like a pre season friendly

CT aside, its a bit of a shit run in really.

The semi finals at Wembley tarnish the final for me. It’s all about the wonga though.
-
Could’ve been played at Old Trafford , 90 mins from Nottingham? But the FA make £0 from that… Palace v Villa at MK Dons 😆

I think the gloss comes off a Wembley visit the 28th time. I quite like supporting a shit team (in terms of trophies). It makes winning things (or even getting close to them) all that much special.

Apparently 5k unsold. Dunno why they leave that big blank block front left for the cameras. Lots of issues at ours about matchday pricing and reduction of season ticket availability, but I think today is much more about Wembley burn-out, semis and charity shield shouldn't be there etc.. I know 82k yesterday gives the FA a get-out but, since (incl) 2011, today would be City's 28th visit, iirc, that's a big stretch for a northern club's fans whichever way you look at it... (even though you're all still revelling in the warm glow of trophydom!)

You can tell they're doing (extra) shite lately, they're after Keane again.....

Yeah. I was thinking that as well. I didn’t watch Man City (a) game but I assume something similar happened? he went full press v Brighton at Amex last season and they just bypassed us with a long ball up to Evan Ferguson every time. Think they did the same against us at home this season (used Welbeck and Ferguson is memory serves).

Completely agree. Hindsight makes it easy, of course, but a draw against Villa away would've been almost worth a win against anyone else in these last few games Can't fault Tindall though. He went for the win. Fair enough. There was merit to his "if it ain't broken" approach. But now that Howe's back you'd expect to see the usual defensive tweaks for our away games.

CT's ran it through the supercomputer, and ALL of their remaining games are now MUST WIN.

Lloyd Kelly update. Vital 2-0 win today puts them in 4th but they are still 3 points off 8th (which I think means he’d be back with us). -
Played at Wembley 30 times since their take over apparently. Sunday evening, hotels chocker with marathon runners.... I do wonder if this happened to us if.... tbd would get a ticket? Naaah, just kidding, of course he wouldn't.
