  1. Past hour
  2. Inter beat Barca for this ffs Might be the most one sided final ever
  3. Fucking hell that takes me back to my days shilling digitals cameras around the turn of the millennium. I'm pretty sure even then that Leica were always heavily partnered with Japanese companies (Kyocera and Panasonic), and the production of the lenses themselves was mostly (if not entirely) outsourced to the far east. But the name itself was a massive selling point. Not to get into a cock swinging competition, but I use a £150 Motorola for all the same exact things, with the only real caveat being that yours probably badly has a better camera and processor. Last flagship phone I ever bought was the first one Sony released after the split with Ericsson and got burned really fucking bad. I don't think I could go back, it's great knowing that I drop this thing off a bridge or my son launches it into a river I'm not still on the hook for £30 a month for another year and a half. Mrs B has slowing been coming over to the same mindset. Fuck, I even have a teenage daughter who now swears by her iPhone 11 because, in her own words "it still does everything I need it to do, and every time I smash the screen I know you can fix it for £25."
  4. Can't read that, the font is too dark
  5. Newcastle's main target, right winger Mbeumo, might seem the most likely candidate to reach the much-needed goalscoring tally this team needs to succeed in the Champions League. However, Harvey Barnes has scored more goals than Anthony Gordon this season and has increased his market value. Over the previous two seasons, he has progressively improved, especially this one. He is more likely to score with his left foot and has a more accurate shot, giving him a better chance of winning when he is in the team. While Anthony Gordon is quicker and faster, the goals come mainly because he cuts in with his preferred foot, so he has been successful with his greater range in facing goal. So why can't he play on the right wing and assist the center forward more often, bringing his sharpness and speed, I would argue with his preferred foot, to pass the ball more quickly to Isak, thus ceding the left wing position to Harvey Barnes? He has scored one goal in four games, which is quite impressive for a left winger. In any case, the PSR and the lack of signings have undoubtedly been taken into account. However, I've seen the first team grow over these three seasons, which indicates that the players are improving. In my opinion, goalkeepers are on the wane, so there's something to that, and they could sign a right centre half valued in around at £50 million bracket if Sven Botman can stay fit all season. But It reminds me of Johnathan Woodgate's story, so far yet so near. As well as another centre forward who is also valued in that position. The midfield is fine, and Joelinton is worth much more than £35 million. I'd like to see Mbeumo come this season, but it's not the end of the world judging by the statistics. And Manchester United, in fact, are slow in the transfer market; just look at how they're handling Fernandez.
  6. bein sports 3 for me. managed 10 mins of tnt before my ranting about the plug faced, duck lipped, piece of human scum drove mrs tbd into the other room!
  7. A couple of mentions of miracles and Istanbul so better than TNT but fuck off you Liverpool arselicking cunt.
  8. Today
  9. This PSG side look nearly as good as us
  10. Ah, might have misread that. I replied thinking he was suggesting buying him then sending him on loan. I think he’d be ready to start games straight away. Whether Eddie thinks that or not remains to be seen
  11. Got RTE2 on, it's Ray Houghton on co-comms with an Irish commentator but the commentator isn't as annoying as 'fletch' and Houghton is nowhere near Rio Ferdinand levels of cuntishness. 1-0 PSG, bad news for the Italians if they've got to chase it.
  12. Maybe mate. Wouldn’t bet on it but you might be right
  13. Linkin Park, man As bad as having Ferdinand on
  14. But you'll miss Linkin Park's pre-show performance.
  15. It's getting put on at KO and with a foreign channel so I avoid the usual suspects.
  16. He is still very young for a GK as well.
  17. He was 20 at the start of their last PL season iirc. He's been hands down the best GK in the championship this season, and is in the England squad ahead of Pope. If we sign him for £30m, then he's coming in as No.1
  18. Not only did he have the most clean sheets last season, he broke the record and had an 85%ish save percentage which is elite. I still wouldn’t bring him in as first choice.
  19. Thanks, thought I was going mental there
  20. Just stuck the CL final build up on and it’s great to see Rio Ferdinand and Steven Gerrard on
  21. You're saying the same thing he was, ie he won't be our number one from day 1 (and therefore Pope can't go in the opposite direction).
  22. He played behind a porous Burnley back four though. I think he had the most clean sheets in the championship last season. Might be ready to start in the PL with our defence in front of him. I wouldn’t expect him to start straight away were be to sign. Howe rarely throws young lads in straight away.
  23. Disagree, Trafford wasn’t ready for the prem last time he played in it. Really risky to go into the season with him as first choice. A season on loan playing regularly in the prem would do him wonders.
  24. But there’s 6 English teams and 4 pots
