I think they played the Mayfair earlier (possibly as well) in 83 or 84,
-
It's Mackem lies like that one about Stuart Adamson that mean I'd have no qualms about building a wall around their stinking shit hole and flooding the resulting tank with hydroflouric acid,
-
Aye. This is probably the big one. How many rockets does their dome have?
-
You know, this looks like it might be a proper war. Israel seems very committed to this.

Hoo marra thats in Tyneside not poocastle, so daint claim that as Jawdee. Used to be part of Derham. St Bede wrote it down at in one of them books he wrote. FTM
-
No missed that one for some reason, can't recall why. Edit - first time I saw them was at the Mayfair in 87, Ice Rink was 86.
-
Did you see Big Country at Whitley Bay Ice Rink?

The Giro was epic this year. Felt for Del Toro because he really deserved it and seemed his team never fancied him and then fucked up tactically big style. But it was so exciting when Yates went away on the penultimate stage You're right of course. Much more interesting when you don't know whose strongest. Del Toro cracking then coming back the next day. Carapaz looking like the strongest then Yates sneaking it Great stuff
-
The Giro this year was great because it was competitive. I couldn't care less if Pog is juiced but he's becoming boring AF. The way he accelerates there, seated whilst Vini is fucking sprinting just screams motor.
-
I know it's probably wrong, but I love watching Pogacar. Much prefer him to Vingegaard He's just so much fun. Based on nothing I reckon they are all on the same sort of preparation these days, I'm not as obsessed by it as I was in the Armstrong days I'm quite enjoying the Pog, Vingegaard, Remco, Roglic era

I was at most, if not all, Big Country gigs at the City Hall and I have zero recollection of the supposed "shut up" I do recall him shouting Dunfermilino though in response to a toon chant at one gig. Perhaps with my age I forget or perhaps the mackem is a lying cunt. Similarly I have never been at a gig where Blaydon races was sang, howay the lads was a standard pre encore chant though, I recall Blackfoot (Rickey Medlock of Skynyrds band) being given the howay the lads treatment, coming back on stage and jamming to it and it ended up on their live EP/Album 😂

You've been rumbled. The Sage is in Gateshead marra. Why would this so called "Elvis" say he loved playing in Newcastle when he was playing in County Durham, SUNDERLAND marra??!!? FTM.
-
Funnily enough, I went to see Elvis Costello when he was at The Sage and he said he loved coming to Newcastle so I assume he must have been lying to please the shady Tyneside cabal. If not, he’d have been blacklisted from future venues
