He definitely looks pissed off when he doesn't do something well imo. That certainly doesn't scream a player looking to be away to me. He wanted to get the golden boot and he's not happy he's not scoring as many at the moment. Which is a good thing in my book.

I was wondering if he doesn't thrive as well with Barnes as he does with Gordon, but if he is injured in some form then thats a better scenario. A few people are saying his head is turned but he looks angry enough when he misses that im not sure it would impact his game even if it was true.

I was told last night, and subsequently saw it mentioned on twitter, that he is having an operation in the summer. He hasn't looked quite right for a few weeks (but not in a disinterested way. Quite the opposite, he looks frustrated that he isn't doing as well) so this certainly stacks up to me. The person who told me is genuine and he has had information in the past that has been correct, and other stuff that has been wrong so I'm not saying it's 100% itk, but I can definitely believe it.

I think there’s something else going on. He’s lost that explosive burst since the cup final. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he’s managing an injury. He’d probably have been rested if we had a viable rotation option.

That's an old joke; "You never guess what? I came into some money the other day!" "Did you?" "Aye, I spunked up in wor lasses purse."

I don't think there's anything aside from perhaps fatigue and maybe carrying a small niggle. It's easy to lose sight that he had an absolutely mental 2-3 period where everything he touched was going in. That form was never going to be sustainable. The media frenzy around him has weaponised him as a passive threat to teams as well. They're shit-scared to the point where they're marking him tight and leaving the door open for others around him.
-
I think we'll get a result. As Howe was saying at the weekend, this team lives for these big games now, and we're in their head. If Tino can keep Saka quiet, and Tonali and Bruno can look after Odegaard, that's most of the job done. Hopefully Isak can give the commentators an excuse to talk about how Arsenal would win the league if they only had him, too.

I had a debate with someone in the pub last night about the Botman/Jackson incident and they're also adamant it's not a red and only connected because Botman failed to jump (WTF?!) I think we're going to have to get used to this nonsense if we want to remain where we are in the league - we're bothering them in and around us ... and it's fucking tremendous.

I’ll leave that to you, you’re more well-versed in it

not bad. but needs more drama.

Sambuca’s deemed too expensive

Out of form a little bit? Fatigued due to a lack of cover so having to play most of every game? A combination of those things?
-
Yet another underhand tactic to force Casemiro out the door. Sad.
-
carrying an injury? head turned? forgotten how to play football? you decide....

I love the inbetweemers, it's just daft TV to watch with no thinking. But some of the stuff that went on that just wouldn't happen. Giving someone a fucking badge on their first day of school? Really?

Nothing says 'we're one of the world's biggest clubs' like an in-house barbecue to celebrate winning a European trophy.

The whole idea of not jumping is such bullshit as Botman was about to spring/jump to actually head the ball when he was elbowed in the face. Jackson, not knowing where the ball was, was never competing for it, so trying to twist it to the point where they're blaming Botman for not jumping well before the ball has even arrived is some next level victim blaming. They've also been comparing it to Mings, who didn't even get a yellow. Apparently VAR thought it was worthy of a yellow but they can only act if it's potentially a red. He broke the poor Bournemouth player's jaw, but he was always looking at the ball and just aggressively shielding. Jackson's was a much more serious infringement but thankfully caused less damage.

Are they shit or they just don't give a shit? There's certainly an element of the former but a bigger chunk of the latter. Consider players who have since left and are performing much better. Telling everyone they're shit is a nice self fulfilling prophecy though and just adds to the general discontent at all levels.
