  1. Past hour
  2. Agreed. Miley's still developing physically, you can see he's much more of a unit than he was last season, if that's still happening (his growth) they can't really push him stamina/athletic wise until he's stabilised and is fully who he will be, as it were.
  3. Did they come with bags more buzz?
  4. What actually also put me off is the food was superb last year so I ate about 3x more than I needed to. Had a similar experience on a 12 night med cruise about 15 years ago where I walked loads (there was a stop at a port almost every day) went to the gym every morning plus sometimes in the afternoon and still put on about a stone
  5. Today
  6. Not saying it’s a long term concern but I think Miley perhaps lacks the athleticism Howe wants atm. I.e. in terms of getting around the pitch. I think it’s an aspect of his game that will improve with time. Long term he’s a better fit than Willock for the more possession based midfield we’ve become (when the best 3 are available). I agree with Gloom that it’s a tad unfair to write Willock off.
  7. We’ve won a trophy anyway and we need CL to keep progressing. Europa league would be a decent consolation but it’s not going to help much in terms of the club kicking on. The other thing is it allows another team to progress at our expense
  8. It's great to be having this discussion at this stage of a season. Even better with a fresh trophy in our cabinet.
  9. Bad run of form to end what has still been their best season since they won a trophy* and they all fuck off for the lap of appreciation or whatever it’s called. *our last relegation which is essentially the same thing
  10. Gemmill lives there, his cat keeps killing rabbits, I’ll let you work out the rest
  11. Over my head but worth noting that one of my first ever jobs as a 17 year old trainee butcher was to drive to a farm in wideopen to collect wild rabbits for the shop
  12. That of course makes Gemmill CT’s bitch, as anyone with even a passing interest in this forum would have worked out more than a decade ago
  13. Im not tee-total but also hardly call myself a drinker. When I did all-inclusive about 7 years ago in Cyprus with my family I had about 4 pints all week alcohol wise. But had loads of coffee and sprite 😂 absolutely smashed it on that front 🥳
  14. Hartlepool is ifurther North than the southern most part of Scotland
  15. I did all inclusive in Turkey last year and I think it definitely helped that only about 10% of the guests were fellow Brits
  16. South Shields is north of Newcastle city centre. Cardiff is further east than Edinburgh. Etc
  17. Yeah, I went a while back and living off the ‘view’ would be my take. Bit naff food and service.
  18. There’s a brand-new pop-up just opened this week in Wideopen. it’s called Therapists or something very similar, only serves wild rabbit.
  19. Cheers. Yeah, used to love the beehive in Summer sat in the beer garden. Always thought it would be lovely to visit without kids so good shout
  20. Aye. That was my thinking. The finances and squad would work itself out as we’d buy appropriately for the competition we are in. We have zero chance of winning the CL but you’re right that in terms of growth, it would be better for the club. However from a fans perspective we’d have a good shot at another trophy. I’d rather be in the CL but realistically we are probably a few years off even mounting a title challenge even with CL money. I’d happily stall a year or 2 of progress to win that cup (not guaranteed of course). The feeling of winning the league cup was great as a fan.
  21. I'm surprised they got you in the plane, Baracus.
