  1. Today
  2. I missed that 19/20 season. Yeah in fairness that is a concerning amount of time on the treatment table. But given it's a free transfer it's much more viable in terms of taking a chance on his future availability. If we had been paying 30 to 50 million in a transfer fee I'd be less sanguine about it given the other areas in the team that need strengthening. And that's the point really. Do we take a chance on Kelly's fitness in order to facilitate spending elsewhere.
  3. Not sure about that. He's missed nigh on 100 games in 5 seasons
  4. Didn't 777 loan Everton £200mil to keep them afloat? What happens to that now?
  5. Unless she's a practicing her Italian accent?
  6. I once had a dirt cheap subscription for the athletic for basically nothing for the first few months. I cancelled way before I needed to. It was pretty poor I thought, and some of the stuff I've seen in the last couple of years it looks like it's only gotten worse.
  7. They mentioned this phenomenon briefly on the News Agents last week. Basically it's a done deal for Labour and that makes for boring headlines for the next 5 weeks. The media are desperately trying to manufacture a bit of excitement out of the whole process, hence the mental takes we are currently seeing by the usual suspects
  8. The poll tracker in the Guardian shows there’s been an uptick, from an already very strong position, for Labour and a slight uptick for the Tories too. They aren’t therefore, taking anything away from Labour but would appear to have taken a small percentage back from Reform. But, to repeat what I’ve previously said, there are no dramatic changes at all and there hasn’t been any for months and months. Obviously you’d expect the Telegraph to outright lie but Kuennsberg’s determination to change the narrative in the middle of an election campaign is a disgrace. Fortunately no one seems to pay her much heed
  9. I have no idea on the content given I don't sub to the Athletic. What are they getting at?
  10. I fucking hate Chelsea. Those players simply going for the big money clubs can fuck off, too. He will probably rot on their bench after they sign another dozen of defenders.
  11. Looks like she's floundering on her sentences.
  12. Just read that Tosin was coached by Maresca when he was at Citeh, so it's maybe fair enough that he went given he had a previous working relationship with him and he won't have to move house. Whether Maresca lasts more than a season or even few months at Chelsea is separate issue though.
  13. Joking, of course. Work sucks, perfectly natural to have the fear, much more so in a new job.
  14. Tbh I think you've just turned into a bum. 👍
  15. I don’t know many people who would actively look forward to going back to work after time off mate, you are probably worrying about your Mrs too.
  16. He's had two bad seasons back to back, but I wouldn't write him off to be as bad or worse than Wilson at this stage of his career.
  17. I used to think some of the criticism of LK was ott but not now like. She's literally a tory schill. It's also clear from people like Maitlis she's been a big problem with the dire toon of travel in BBC political news. As much as I will take delight in her increasingly twisted gurning face on election night, I'll be watching C4.
  18. I imagine he's Chalobah's replacement. They need to sell him or Gallagher by the end of the month iirc
  19. But Casey said it was a done deal for us and anyone who said other were wankers.
  20. Maybe Maresca has spoken to him, actually wants him, and has given assurances about playing time etc, but as a Newcastle journo was saying it's likely that Chelsea upper management see him largely as a free asset given their financial issues, as opposed to a piece of the jigsaw of their first 11. If it's the latter then Chelsea are welcome to him. Unfortunately this could have major consequences in terms of the level of attacking players we can go after, given it's unlikely we'll find a bargain and or free transfer on the level of Tosin, and will therefore have to spend 30 to 50 million if Howe is set on getting two centre half's with Botman and Lascelles out until at least Christmas.
  21. https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1796842982190006302 Tosin off to Chelsea. Disappointing given Lloyd Kelly has a worse injury record than Wilson
