(Set up my own kodi addons no bother as well, just can't view them properly on the fucking TV!)

Got a new laptop and am having bother getting a full picture from kodi through to my TV. It works automatically when I put HDMI lead in, (great), but when I put the full page of kodi on the laptop the film still works on the laptop but freezes on the TV. I've tried googling this but don't seem to see any problems of this happening? In the past I was using PC and had to set it up manually on windows 7. Like I said, this all works automatically now but not as good as before. Help me you bunch of arseholes!!!
