  1. I was going to edit that myself but probably best not to put in what I was going to from my work computer.
  2. willie mckay innit ? maybe wrong , but babayaro's carear echo's that of mckays clients You're not wrong. Innit.
  3. If he can't get a deal with a MLS side I can't see him having much luck at Pompey.
  4. Clearly just a huge coincidence that you're both normally on at the same time then eh?
  5. Shola to West Brom?
  6. I suppose not being shot is the litmus test these days, how sad. He matched the description of an armed criminal, it would have been a disgrace if he hadn't been stopped. A black man wearing a black t-shirt with orange writing. Strange 300 odd people weren't jumped at Liverpool street. They should be, most of them probably are armed in some way and intent on crime. Now you're waging a war on the blacks Stevie?
  7. A millions miles away and we get called deluded Because one person's opinion is representative of our entire fanbase of course.
  8. Zenit has turned down Barca's offer of £12m and they've refused to offer any more rather than him turning them down. I realise that, but if it was his dream to play for them he could ask Zenit to accept or make noises about wanting to leave or whatever. So why did you say he had turned them down when he clearly hasn't? Don't worry about it. This Fopitis seems to be contagious.

  11. Is it so unbelievable that the player might want to go to one of the world's top clubs? Tbf Zenit are hardly strapped for cash so if he wanted more money he could likely get it. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on this one.
  12. Well when the likes of Barcelona, Chelsea and Arsenal are after him you can hardly blame the fella.
  13. at last, the voice of reason. That's the first time I've ever heard Stevie being called that.
  14. If you do go to the coppers are they not going to ask questions about the lock in?
  15. Just repeating what Thatcher banged on about for years, though personally I don't think that that's a bad thing.
  16. No I'm a homeowner. I got a good deal on a new 3 year fixed rate just before Brown took over, and made sure to re-mortgage enough to pay off all my outstanding borrowing. Selling DVDs helps as well I suppose ! In all seriousness though food prices, petrol and the enormous gas/electricity hikes expected I can only see a gloomy near future. That's just a precautionary measure so I get something back off what's fast becoming an obsolete format. Not that anyone should be put off making a purchase by that. I feel raped. This has been coming for a while but unfortunately it seems like the government, while seeing it, hasn't prepared for it and failed to 'save for a rainy day' while the economy was booming. I almost feel sorry for Gordon that Tony was in charge during the period when the economy pretty much ran itself and now he's left with this pile of shit in his lap, almost.
  17. The DoF position can work but only if everyone involved in the situation is comfortable with it and their roles are clearly defined and this is why I think Keegan may have had a problem with the current set up at the club. Time will tell whether it is going to work out at SJP but one thing it will provide is continuity in the event that Keegan leaves, however that then assumes that the problem was with the manager in the first place.
  18. Totally agree, although Ramos' seville won the Uefa and ran the domestic title close. Makes you wonder why he took such a huge step down to join Spurs.
  19. I haven't stayed a night in Dublin in years, I refuse to go and pay ridiculous prices when an equally good time can be had in the west side of the country for a lot less.
