  1. Aye, she's a right hound. Woof! Well I still would
  2. Maybe a bit quick off the mark with that comment.
  3. Saves having to buy a sat nav as well.
  4. Well sometimes you have to think outside the box.
  5. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ugh/6595395.stm An absolute steal if he can stay fit.
  6. I don't see why he's getting so much flak for talking optimistically, it was just a throw away paper comment and some have picked up on it and want to crucify the fella for it. I'm personally pleased to see that he has such lofty ambitions. More to the point is the fact that him and Owen won't work together as long as our midfield remains as uncreative as it has been.
  7. People mention it because its true, whether you rate him or not, and i didn't think he'd make it myself. The fact is though, if the people who run this club knew what they were doing, when he still had a couple of years or more on his contract they have loaned him for a year to a championship side (instead of him festering away in the reserves and warming the bench), then if he bangs in a shitload we can sell him for decent fee as people will want him. Erm, he did go out on loan, didn't he? I know he went for a while, but not a whole year unless i've remembered wrong! I think if he'd had a whole season and reached the kind of goals tally he has at Cardiff then we could have been looking at a decent fee for him as people will always take a gamble on goalscorers, even if they've done it at a lower level. 17 goals in 39 games at Barnsley That was a start, which should have been followed either by giving him a run in our team if they thought him good enough or another year on loan, where he could have done what he has at Cardiff and then we could have got a good price for him. I don't understand this "give him a run in the team" thing. If he's good enough for the team, he'd be in it. Example = Luque. The difference is giving a flying fuck about the team. If Luque is given a chance so what? If Chopra was given a chance you can bet that it meant the fucking world to him and he'd bust a fucking gut for the team.
  8. 7th and 4th within his forst 3 seasons is a fairly good return IMO.
  9. Including Obafemi Martins written in the top left of the shirt.
  10. Is that a Nancy top? 207 different sponsors ffs.
  11. Absolute fucking bollocks tbf, they're the only team in the world who can buy any other player. Yes the PL was dominated by Man U before Abramovich came along but Arsenal were pushing them and Liverpool and ourselves were closing the gap. Chelsea have gone beyond taking the piss and if Man U win it this season then it will be an amazing testimony towards Ferguson's capabilities as a manager to win the PL again despite the hundreds of millions thrown at Chelsea by Abramovich. No club in the world, including Man U, could afford to be making the sort of losses Chelsea are so to say that any other club in the world could match them when it comes to transfer fees is absolute rubbish.
  12. Can everyone please ignore him now? He's just an attention seeker, albeit an incredibly dull one.
  13. Roeder was talking about sending Edgar out on loan next season so that may be inaccurate.
  14. More likely that Hammond has found better paid jobs since his accident, best thing could have happened him career wise.
  15. They did it in Belfast for the Odyssey arena at a reasonable cost as far as I know. But for a project with a 36,000 stadium to cost £600m they're gonna have to sell a hell of a lot of houses.
  16. Actually to be fair to the useless twat the full quote was "He reminds me of the way Frank Lampard works in training and I cannot pay him any bigger compliment than that."
  17. Is that why you left him on the bench agaisnt Alkmaar and City you fucking prick?
  18. Takes the attention off how shite the rest of the shirt is?
  19. Is Happy Face anything to do with it?
