Wow how impressive was that ! David Haye's first fight ever as a heavyweight and he kicks the arse of the world number 11, (not that that says much these days), but on this display he could take the heavyweight division by storm. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adAMQnr3A0k http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sORAvCv1Yj0

http://www.metro.co.uk/fame/article.html?i...mp;in_a_source= Chuckle Brother in motorbike smash Friday, April 27, 2007 Paul of the Chuckle Brothers has had a bike accidentChuckle Brothers star Paul Elliott doesn't have much to laugh about after a motorbike smash. The children's TV favourite was injured when he fell off his bike during a family holiday on the Greek island of Kefalonia yesterday. The 59-year-old suffered a broken nose plus cuts and bruises to both legs - and his Chuckle vision has been hampered by a black eye. To make matters worse, a passing group of British tourists stopped at the scene of the accident. But instead of helping him out, they starting shouting the Chuckle Brothers' famous catchphrase: "To me, to you." Paul explained: "I was feeling like Marlon Brando in the film The Wild Ones when suddenly I took this blind and steep curve in the road. "To my horror, a shepherd steering goats down the steep road had the goats all over the place. I knew if I didn't break and swerve, I would have gone into them. "As I braked I lost control and I'm not sure exactly what happened. The next thing I knew, I was on the floor with the motorbike on top of me." A friend of the star said: "Paul's main embarrassment was when a group of British tourists recognised him. As he was struggling to get the bike off him, he heard chants of 'To me, to you' followed by laughter."

True enough. Not been the best player though imo. Agreed on both counts, but Martins gets my vote.

Just said on Talksport that the fine would have been £8m-£9m had West Ham not pleaded guilty to all charges.

There was a feature in the Express on this topic recently, they said it was a conspiracy involving Prince Philip and group of Muslim asylum seekers.

Spurs consider move for Dyer Michael Walker Friday April 27, 2007 The Guardian Kieron Dyer has become a transfer target for Tottenham, with the 28-year-old Newcastle United and England midfielder believed to be ready to leave Tyneside after eight seasons. However, Tottenham are likely to need to find at least £6m to persuade Newcastle to sell and Martin Jol will then have to try to fit Dyer into the wage structure at White Hart Lane. It is understood Dyer earns about £80,000 a week at Newcastle whereas the highest-paid player at Tottenham is Robbie Keane on an estimated £45,000. Something would have to give between Dyer and Spurs for the move to proceed but Newcastle, though wanting as large a fee as possible, might not stand in Dyer's way. Glenn Roeder is already preparing for another midfielder, Reading's Steve Sidwell, to arrive on a free transfer. Newcastle's share price jumped over 5% yesterday on a day of unusually active trading. At the close Newcastle had a market capitalisation - paper value - of £94.5m, about 15% more than on Monday. The identity of the purchaser is unknown but it is understood not to be the chairman, Freddy Shepherd, who is believed to want to buy out his fellow board members Sir John Hall and his son Douglas. Shepherd has around 29% of Newcastle shares, the Halls 41%, but since the confirmation in January that the Belgravia group are not interested in a buy-out despite discussions, trading has been flat. Yesterday's activity is sure to lead to speculation.

Kieron Dyer has emerged as a summer transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur, although acquiring the Newcastle United midfield player would require a significant shift in the London club’s wage policy. While the 27-year-old represents the prototype Martin Jol signing – he is English, quick and versatile – his present earnings far outstrip the maximum outlay at White Hart Lane. Dyer commands a weekly wage of more than £80,000 at St James’ Park, almost double what Tottenham are understood to pay Robbie Keane, their highest earner. While the England player may be prepared to lower his demands to revitalise his career away from the North East, where he has endured some difficult times, the difference in earnings may prove prohibitive. As yet, there is not thought to have been substantive contact between the clubs, while the player, who has now been on Tyneside for eight years, has not expressed any public desire to leave. Indeed, he has previously said he wants to repay the club’s loyalty after a complex range of injuries. Yet, having failed on numerous occasions to prise Stewart Downing away from Middlesbrough, Jol, the head coach, remains in the market for pace and penetration and Dyer’s ability to fill several roles could prove attractive. At times this season, he has played in wide positions, in central midfield and in attack; it is the latter quality – he has scored six goals – which may raise further questions concerning the future at Tottenham of Jermain Defoe. Glenn Roeder has challenged Emre Belozöglu to repeat the solid performance he produced against Chelsea last weekend, with the Turkey midfield player still to show much consistency. “I thought Emre had his best game of the season for us on Sunday,” the manager said. “This followed on from Portsmouth, where I thought his first-half show was his worst 45 minutes for us. He is a very good player and he will be even better if he could be a bit more consistent.” If wages are a problem can I suggest a wip round ????

I find her rather hit and miss, some times she looks gorgeous and on other occasions she looks somewhat odd, something not right about those lips.

Middlesbrough have confirmed the £7m permanent signing of England defender Jonathan Woodgate. Woodgate, 27, arrived at his home-town club in August on a season-long loan from Real Madrid. But he has now made the permanent switch to the Riverside, signing a four-year contract and putting his injury misery behind him. Boro negotiated a first option to buy the former Leeds and Newcastle defender when they set up the loan move. He arrived at the Riverside having endured a miserable two years at the Bernabeu where injuries left him struggling to establish himself in Spanish football. But such has been Woodgate's form and fitness that he has started 33 of the 41 games Boro have played since his arrival, earning a recall to the England side for the friendly against Spain in February. Woodgate cost Newcastle £8m when they signed him from Leeds in January 2003, and Real paid £13.4m for his services in August 2004.

I'm watching Heroes and Riches atm Really like Heores, but the Riches is pretty average imo. Good concept but I struggle to get past Izzards awful american accent. oh and did you watch the lastest Heroes episode ".07%" they crammed a shitload into one episode iyam Izzard's accent is truely aweful , its right up there with Dick Van Dyke and Hugh Laurie in House, I'm finding it enjoyable at the moment, but I do wonder if the show has got the legs to carry it many more episodes. I totally agree about your comment about the recent Heroes episode, it felt like two episodes in one, too much of it was a recap from the last episode combined with the new, I guess that was due to the 6 week gap in episodes.
