  3. Day Break Superb show, a rip off of Groundhog Day but superb none the less: Detective Brett Hopper is having a really bad day, accused of killing Asst. DA Alberto Garza. He has an alibi, but no one believes him. When he realizes that he has been framed, he tries to run away but has to stop when he learns that his loved ones are also in danger. But one morning, he wakes up and relives the same day over and over again. To stop this cycle, solve the mystery and have a normal life, he must find out who framed him.
  4. Considering your "taste" that’s a glowing endorsement for the movie tbh. Can you honestly say that the three LOTR films weren't disappointing? Yes I can, I thought they were all fantastic.

  11. The level at which people are officially obese according to BMI is surprisingly low, prior to my weight loss in preparation of my surgery this year I was officially obese (just) but thankfully I've managed to just about keep it off since. My Mrs on the other hand isn't so luckly, since having the kids she's piled on the pounds and is now unhealthily obese, but it is linked to depression, and she takes comfort in food, but is in the situation where she eats because she is depressed, and is depressed because she eats, even though I do my best to influence her it is way beyond any words I can say. It is a visious downward spiral that I fear will cost her her health to the ultimate point. But as Dan said, fuck em, they are disgusting and only have themselves to blame.

  16. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/4313978.stm Snake bursts after gobbling gator The remains of the two giant reptiles were found by astonished rangers in the Everglades National Park. The rangers say the find suggests that non-native Burmese pythons might even challenge alligators' leading position in the food chain in the swamps. The python's remains with the victim's tail protruding from its burst midsection were found last week. The head of the python was missing. "Encounters like that are almost never seen in the wild... And here we are," Frank Mazzotti, a University of Florida wildlife professor, was quoted as saying by the Associated Press news agency. "They were probably evenly matched in size. If the python got a good grip on the alligator before the alligator got a good grip on him, he could win," Professor Mazzotti said. He said the alligator may have clawed at the python's stomach, leading it to burst. "Clearly, if they can kill an alligator they can kill other species," Prof Mazzotti said. He said that there had been four known encounters between the two species in the past. In the other cases, the alligator won or the battle was an apparent draw. Burmese pythons - many of whom have been dumped by their owners - have thrived in the wet and hot climate of Florida's swamps over the past 20 years.
