There's 4500 tickets mate and cash on the turnstiles, I believe. It'll not be a sell out. You'll defo be able to get in. HTL.

aye i don't think anyone will pay the 20m Newcastle will want in January, and that's the only reason he won't be going. Pardew's assurances aren't worth bugger all as we all well know, and why anyone debates the opposite is beyond me. Exactly. As a group of fans we can't believe anything that comes from thje board or manager in terms of our transfer policy. That policy being, if the moneys right they'll go, and if the fee is cheap/right for the club they may come. We can't say for certain that he's staying just because Pardew was told by Derek that he's gan neewhere. Personally, I hope he'll be here come February 1st but not so sure about next season. What the fuck did we do to deserve this, having to second guess the owners? It's not that Ashley want's us to do badly, it's just he want's us to scrape through everything on the lowest budget with the shittest products. You only have to look at Sports Direct. High turnover of absolute shite. Leon Best and James Perch are the Lonsdale and Donnay of this world.

Good at peeling off his marker apparently. Decent chip on him too. Rumours he roasted alongside Pardew

I remember waking up on the sunday morning and expecting to watch Transworld sport and all that was on was Diana news. I went through and told my mother who didn't believe me then decided crying was an appropriate response. I didn't really care at the age I was so went off to golf lessons at Wallsend Course. The fucking thing was cancelled out of a mark of respect. Wasn't happy about to be honest. Still, sad for 2 young lads to lose their mother.

What would happen at the Toontastic New Years Party

I'm like a fuckin' pilot light - Never gan oot. The woman's out tomorrow all day and I'll have the youths so don't fancy being hungowa' for them. Saving myself for the trek down to Wigan on sunday. Have a nice drink en route, I would've thought. Canny tbf. -
Is it written in the stars or something? Personally don't think Carroll will be going anywhere because Ashley knows that encouraging such a move would be the last straw for the remaining fans who have put up with him. Like he gives a fuck. I'd gan along with that mind. 50,000+ turned up for the Dipper game straight after Hughtons departure so I think he realises that he'd have to shag our wives, girlfriends and daughters to keep the majority away.

Unless he's about 90-100 I'd guess so. Yeah he did. Used to sit in front of me in the East stand corner right on the end seat next to the stairs. Disappeared early 00's. The amount of Bovril he'd gan through was ridiculous, all of which was donated by generous fellow Geordies wandering up to their seats. He'll be sat next to Sir Bobby chewing the fat.

will you post more? Would that be a refusal I take it :icon_lol:

Where's that gan' from? We leave from the Rising Sun on the coast road in Wallsend.

A Wise Man can see more from the bottom of a well than a Fool can see from the top of a mountain Well, bring yourself down here, there's more than enough room mate Btw, your avatar causes me no end of problems at work. Hiding it's a job akin to masking the smell of bucket smoke coming from my bedroom circa 99.

You gan down like? The very shittest of holes Wigan is.

Yeah I'm going down. Although that was made clear in my opening post.

I think your optimistic view at the moment is welcome from a balancing pov even if I don't agree with it but trusting Ashley after all that's gone on isn't optimism - it's stupidity. Its based on the fact he hasnt sold anyone who didnt want to be away. He didnt cash in on Enrique, Jonas etc etc as most predicted when we were relegated. Wanting to balance the books before all else , yes.... a history of getting rid of our best players, no. Quite the opposite in fact over the last 18 months. Currently securing good talent on long term deals, signing Tiote, Ben Arfa and whatever comes in January. When we actually sell players that dont want to go I'll buy into your Ashley theory. I find your pro Ashley stance tiresome, honestly you're getting right on my tits. I read your threads and think this cunt is on the wind up, and fine if you are but you're a mug. Signing Tiote what £3m? Not sellin Enrique, pah that was good of him, and who's to say any offers were on the table. The fact is another relegation will cost TTFCMA more than 8 or 9m he'd get in from selling Enrique, he realises this. We won't be selling Carroll though. You big fucking Jesse. If you cant hack differing opinions on football I suggest you nip along to the newsagents and buy a copy of Shoot or play on your PS3 instead. As long as people keep blabbering on about where going to sell ths one or that one and we dont, I'll keep putting the true facts across. So far I think im right on the last 3 or 4 windows. There are one or two clubs that can afford to splash the cash. We are getting the finances under control, giving decent players long contracts and finding good young players and bringing good young players through. Honestly, a big fucking jesse. People can have differing opinions, and you can have yours, but when their stance is as pathetic as yours, I'm allowed to shake my head, particularly when you're so blinkered to the situation Ashley has created, you either have no clue about the game or are deliberately being offensive. Your immediate support of him and his decision to replace Hughton with Pardew sums you up tbh. He could sell Carroll for £1m and you'd find the positive, it's tiresome pal. And your and others blindness to what has actually gone on over the past 18 months with regard to players coming in and going out is pathetic in my eyes. How many players have been sold against their will? I don't think it comes down to that. It comes down to the fact that we, as a group of supporters, shouldn't trust anything that Ashley does with our club - this isn't out of spite, it's born through all the other errors he's made since buying the club. If you for one second believe he wouldn't sell a player who wanted to stay if the money was right you're living in cookoo land, mate. You're right that you should re-evaluate your opinions on things constantly but I don't think he's made one decision since 2008 which has made him trustworthy in any way, shape or form. Aye?

Do you ever pay attention. I've discussed many times on here how I gave up my season ticket when KK left. Unlike the likes of Alex who had paid in full, I was on installments and able to get out. I now go when it's affordable / suits me My last game was boxing day v man city. What about you? Why did you pack in when KK left then? Either your pro or anti Ashley. I don't see how anyone could sit on the fence when it comes to him. In this thread your pro Ashley but obviously packed in 'cos of Ashleys handling of the club, no? -
What?? Two good songs ever??? Oasis released at least thirty songs you'll be humming in your Old Peoples Day Centre in 2050 mate. Golden Brown is a mint timeless song though. That's the nightmare for Ashcroft though is they're always compared to Oasis. Personally, I prefer The Verve to Oasis. Sonnet, Lucky Man, Velvet Morning, Love is Noise, Drugs dont work, Bittersweet .... Some absolute classics there man. I would agree Oasis had more songs you'd remember and they were fucking amazing but I was always a Verve man. The only decent thing to come out of Wigan. Supersonic is one of my favourite tunes like.

Shola's fucked n'aal man. His hips are fucked. Ranger and Vuckic, we've got nothing to lose. Except points and Premiership status He'll play Ranger on his tod then with Nolan off him. I just dislike pulling Nolan out of the middle because it then free's up a space for one of Smith or Guthrie. Hopefully Pardew will be banging on Ashleys door pleading for funds to bolster the squad whether that's loan deals or permanant signings. The fact Carrolls out and people seem resigned to defeat speaks volumes. We should have more about us than that. What have we got to indicate that we shouldn't expect the worst? I'm not saying we should roll over and die, but our other striking prospects don't inspire nearly as much confidence as Carroll does. Ranger has 1 in the League Cup, Lovenkrands has 2 (1 in the league cup), Shola has 6 total (3 of those in the league cup). Also, just looking at how our side performed when Barton was out showed how we played when we were missing one of our key players. I meant it speaks volumes that the squad desperately needs new faces. A new left back is a must, left sided midfielder and at least one striker who kna's how to find the back of the net.

And Beardsleys and Hughtons and Henry Winters etc etc etc Aye Hughton. So, surely he watched enough of Ferguson to know he wasn't ready for this level hence his lack of game time and having others playing ahead of him week in week out. In fairness to Pardew he's going to want to make a good start to the job and will rightly, imo, utilise his experienced squad to get him those results. In my job if I had 2 lads doing the same one, one a brand new'un and another with years of experience, I'd use the experienced lad to get the big job done. Often regardless of their work ethic etc because I know the skills are there, it's just finding a way to get the best from him. As much as I respect Hughton, his assertion Lua Lua wasn't read was one of his mistakes. He was by a million miles the best player in League One till he broke his leg. Look at Brighton's shit form since that happened, and the way Jonas is playing he could've been a good option especially with Jonas and Routledge playing one good game in five. Regarding Ferguson, seen him playing full back at reserves a lot but he's equally adept further up the park, he's a good prospect. Looked excellent against Aldershot Stanley in the League Cup. I've not seen nearly enough of him to have much of an opinion on him. What I was saying though was in response to CT saying 'Beardsley, Hughton and Winter' so I'd have thought Hughon would've had a good idea where he's at. You're reet about LuaLua, looked class at Brighton but then Shola looked class in the championship. I hope and like to see the young'uns coming through I just understand Pardew if he sticks with experience with him being so new into the job. You gan down on sunday mate? Nar after Spurs I won't be going to far away, away games this season. Looking good for a Sunderland ticket though How you only been to 24 away games like? Late toon support developer? I reckon I'd been to 24 by the age of 15. Divn't kna' really just the way it worked out. I used to gan occasionally then lived in Devon for 3 years so that stopped any travelling aboot. I try to gan to about 2 or 3 a year if I can. Always had a season ticket though. Away games just re-affirm to me how shite all the other stadia are in the country compared to SJP, OT and the emirates.
