To continue on the slightly off topic bit, which ones were the ones with Kyle Katarn (sp?) in? The ones where you were FP if shooting or TP if destroying all and sundry with a light saber? Always enjoyed those.

Let us know what you think of Bloodline, never actually heard any of it. I never really thought that JB's vocals were particularly bad, but I don't think he'd have been able to do something like Slow Train on A New Day Yesterday. What do you reckon to Dust Bowl? I have to say Black Rock for me is by far his weakest, just doesn't really have anything that makes me go back to it. Whereas I'm constantly going back to So It's Like That and Sloe Gin. I don't really know very much Eric Johnson stuff, but I'd heard that comparison made before and from the little I've heard can understand it. But then I think that might be a bit more earlier stuff (I'm not exactly great at making these sorts of comparisons, find it hard to think of different music whilst listening to something). And anyway, I don't see it as such a crime to be heavily influenced by others. I think I know what you mean about becoming a bit samey though. I thought on BCC1 a lot of the guitar sound was so similar, and didn't necessarily fit so well. But this is being really picky now! I'd have loved to see them, but I've got my ACA finals right after they play in London. Loads of bands and stuff on around that time that I can't go and see!

have you had a look at JBs other band? BCC and Bloodline? Got both BCC albums, Song Of Yesterday is particularly genius. Never really found any Bloodline (but then not really looked particularly hard). BCC aye, agree about SoY my favourite song by far from album 1, Cold on album 2. I'm not really sure about a favourite for 2. Crossfire is pretty good, and Cold as you say. Also quite like The Battle For Hadrian's Wall and An Ordinary Son, but its all pretty good. I think 2 is probably a better standard on average, thought 1 had a few filler tracks really, but on 1 there are some absolutely phenomenal songs, and SoY is definitely their best. Have you heard of a guy called Philip Sayce? Welsh Canadian (somehow), bit more poppy than Joe, but still a pretty damn good guitarist. Bit more blue sky summer driving your car kinda music (to me at least), if you see what I mean?:

Been listening to the new Black Stone Cherry album, alrightish, but the lyrics are a bit weak. Basically seems like they have kinda run out of ideas a bit/relying on cliches. Shame, cos I really like the first two albums and they are beyond fantastic live. Also just got Black Country Communion 2, so thats getting heavy play in the car at the mo. Not bad, but unfortunately nothing as awesome as Song Of Yesterday yet. And, last but definitely not least: RIP Big Man.

Should have it on Assassin's Creed 2, but one of the tombs glitched so I don't have the trophy for it, but have the seal and Altair's armour. Leaves me on 98%. And a little bit annoyed. Otherwise I normally just have a go at a few, then get bored, so nothing else is above like 75%.

I can't remember what site it was one (poss gamespot or psn network itself), but I'm sure I read that you keep the 2 from 5 free games permanently, and its just the ones you download through the ps+ bit that you get for the free period of 30 days and then lose. The cynical part of me thinks that this is Sony thinking they can get themselves a fair few new subscribers to ps+, but I'm sure that a multinational corporation such as this would never think such a thing.

Word of warning, make sure you have enough space to download before going into the store, and get BOTH games at the same time. (Naively) thought just over 8gb would be enough when I checked my free space before going into the store, so went ahead. Got to inFamous, and that’s like 7.5gb, so started that one going then exited the store to free up some other space, went back in, and I cannot get my second game. The option to view the free games has completely disappeared, leaving me with just the playstation plus nonsense. Not overly impressed. I'm def going for Infamous, but not sure on the other one. Is Little Big Planet all that good? Not fussed with Wipeout really, and no idea on Ratchet and Clank or Dead Nation. Aren't those two kinda small/cheap download games anyway? Edit: Ok, might be me being stupid, but does anyone know how you actually get the games? Gone on the Playstation Store and can't seem to find a way to do it?

Only played the demo of Wet when it came out, but found that far too repetitive. Bayonetta is pretty good fun, bit mental but a fair bit of smacking people around the head. Yeah, heard about that, but never really seen/read it or whatever. There do seem to be a few around who like to try and chip away at Joey B, never really understood it to be honest, never got the impression from seeing him live/videos/interviews etc that hes anything but the humble guy he appears to be. But he doesn't seem to bear any grudges: "What a horrible way to start today. I was just told that my friend and guitar hero Gary Moore has died. I would not be playing music if it wasn't for the playing and support of Gary. Really bad news about Kubica. Really hope thats not him done, would love to see him get a car to rival the big boys and fulfill his potential. Maybe that might even have been this season with the new more aggressive approach from Renault, who knows.
