Hoping someone can advise. My clutch has suddenly started making a whirring noise when pressed and I'm fairly certain it's the throwout bearing starting to wear and I've booked it into my local garage for tomorrow afternoon to see what they think. If I'm right how much should I expect to be paying them if I want this replaced? I'm currently sporting a Peugeot 206 Thanks.

Delighted to watch Chelsea get dumped out of the Champions League only to then hear Celtic have made it through to the last 16. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away

1 month on and still true I think.

I've read the reviews, they're very encouraging. The mrs still isn't completely sold on the idea but I'm going to look up some of those YouTube videos you mentioned. I see no reason why that won't seal the deal, she will see sense.

Don't be daft, I hand out the jobs in this establishment Besides, hoovering is by far the worst of all house chores.

I've been eyeing up one of those badboys ever since I laid eyes on it, as CT pointed out, in Breaking Bad. What a truly magnificent invention. I'll be eagerly awaiting your review, Gemmill.

Been listening to Efdemin – Efdemin with a bottle of red wine tonight. There's some weird and wonderful music on it with Le Ratafia being the standout track of the album for me:

I would be absolutely seething if I was a Man City fan right now

Another useless little nugget of information I heard the other day - Every premier league goal scored by a Newcastle player since March has had a surname starting with A, B or C.

Was really excited that Wolfy was leaving the forum for a moment just then. I frequently confuse the last poster with the thread starter for some reason. Fuck sake.

I worked part time at a Comet store whilst in Sixth Form. A considerable proportion of the sales staff there would put pressure on customers to purchase warranties to the point where it could only be considered bullying. Of course I speak only for the store I worked in when I say this, but I can't begin to muster up even a little bit of sympathy for the majority of the vultures I worked with - It really does take a special kind of cunt to push a £30 warranty on a pensioner purchasing a £60 Microwave. And even worse laugh about it afterwards. Imo.

On the subject of laptops maybe you can help me out lads. My sister is looking for one for sub £400 - I've found two potentials which seem pretty decent value: http://www.ebuyer.com/350099-samsung-300e5a-laptop-np300e5a-a0guk http://www.ebuyer.com/398428-samsung-305v5a-laptop-np305v5a-a04dx They're clearly fine for all the usual stuff (office, web browsing, music, dvds, etc.) but she also wants to be able to play a game which has a video card requirement, which is: "For computers using built-in graphics chipsets under Windows, the game requires at least: Intel Integrated Chipset, GMA 3-Series or above." Will either of those laptops be suitable for fulfilling that requirement?

Speaking of the Back to the Future films, specifically the second one, it's only going to be another 2 or 3 years until the actual year that Marty travelled into the future. THAT makes me feel old. Still hoping for a hoverboard by the way.

Someone recently pointed out ot me that next year will be the 20th anniversary of Jurassic Park. Couldn't wrap my head around that at first and in a childish state of denial even googled it to check - I can remember going to see that at the cinema as if it were yesterday

Got mine from River Island.

Can't help but notice people haven't heeded my "before anyone passes judgement" comment.

No, but now that you've said that I wish it did
