  1. This could be key. Let's not forget that Fulham got dicked by one of the shittest teams in the premier league last weekend; and with only 10 men to boot. Quietly optimistic about this one.
  2. Two pages in and no mention of Hugh Grant? Typecasting personified, Shirley?
  3. I have no idea how I managed to skip over a whole sentence. Long day.
  4. This is mental - £1 million casually splashed out for 3 children. Chelsea sign three Luton Town brothers http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16601927.stm Chelsea have signed three Luton Town youth players, all of them brothers, for a five-figure sum each. Twins Rio and Cole Dasilva, 12, as well as their 13-year-old sibling Jay, have joined the Blues academy after five years in the Hatters ranks. Luton say the total value of the deal could top £1m should the trio play in the Chelsea first team. "This is a historic deal to see three brothers transferred together," said Luton head of youth Gregg Broughton. "Following our loss in the play-offs last season we were told that the boys wished to look at other options, as was their prerogative to do so. "And now after six months of uncertainty, we are delighted that they have found a club where they are settled and one that recognises the development work that Luton Town have put in over the last five years."
  5. I remember seeing a clip of this on QI. Load of shit
  6. Bit of Oceans 14 here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-16556547 Thieves in Manchester dug a 100ft (30m) underground tunnel to get to a cash machine. The theft happened overnight on Monday 2 January at Blockbuster in Fallowfield Shopping Precinct, Levenshulme. A similar plot was foiled in the same area in 2007, and police believe it may have been carried out by the same gang. Thieves dug the tunnel directly under the cash machine and used machinery to cut through more than 15in (38cm) of concrete to steal the money. Det Sgt Ian Shore from Longsight CID said: "In all my years of service, I've never seen anything as elaborate." The tunnel started from a railway embankment at the rear of the shop, and went under a car park and beneath the foundations of the store. The passageway was about 4ft (1.2m) tall and had been fitted with lighting and roof supports. Police said the offenders also made their getaway back down the tunnel. Officers believe the people responsible could have spent up to six months digging the passageway. Det Sgt Shore said: "These people had obviously spent a long time plotting this crime and I doubt they would have been able to keep their plans secret for all that time, without telling others about their scheme. "They must also have spent a lot of time in the area over the past few months, which people may have noticed." In 2007, police sealed off the area near a Blockbuster store in Fallowfield Shopping Precinct after workmen uncovered a 40ft (12m) tunnel that seemed to be leading to it. That tunnel had also been dug from a railway embankment but had been uncovered short of its target. Police were unable to say if it was the same Blockbuster store that had been targeted, but said it was not the same tunnel that had been used this time.
  7. Much appreciated, thanks lads.
  8. They will, as we pick them off one by one
  9. People who order an expensive bit of steak 'well done'
  10. Sounds great, I really can't wait to go. Where did you stay? There seems to be 2 areas (relatively close to each other mind) with lots of places of interest. There's what I assume is the main city centre part, and then there's another area quite close to the Bernabau which also appears to have quite a lot of things to do and places to see. Just debating where about I should book the hotel you see.
  11. Easyjet have a sale on that ends at midnight tonight if anyone is feeling impulsive. 20% off quite a few flights. On that note I just managed to get some cheap flights to Madrid. Looks like Real Madrid are playing Malaga whilst I'm out there. Can anyone recommend the best way to go about getting tickets for this? Gracias.
  12. I think Howard Webb's gonna struggle to get back into this Man Utd side after this performance from Foy.
  13. The Man Utd fans on my facebook are already doing my head in. A near on impossible task, I know, but I really want Man City to get back into this.
  14. And a whopping 10 points from their other 17 games played. I do hope Pardew is taking notes on how it should be done
  15. Any time that I've ever walked past the Villa shop, whilst having the misfortune of being in Birmingham, I don't think I've ever seen a single body in there. Pointless club. Barely even registers as a blip on my radar. As for Paul Merson - He looks like the sort of guy that regularly purchases his drinks from the cleaning aisle at the supermarket. Fuck him.
  16. Good lad (if you actually get to go). Just to warn you though, I think I read that Circo Loco tickets had sold out and that there are going to be very limited tickets being sold very early on the night on the door, so you may want to check into that before committing to anything, or at least have a plan B in the works just in case!
  17. Going to a small gathering round a friends house. Certainly won't be a late one. New Year's Day however I'm going to Circo Loco at Proud2 (used to be Matter) in London. Could get messy.
  18. Out of the 7 games played today 5 of them were draws. Given us a bit of breathing room from Stoke and WBA who were slowly starting to close the gap.
