  1. Think Fabregas did similar once, seem to remember him scoring a penalty, sprinting away celebrating like a madman and then having to come off with a serious hamstring injury or something he'd done taking the pen.
  2. Don't think people actually watch the games on here sometimes, what exactly did Perch do wrong? As far as I can see he came on for 15 minutes, never lost the ball, worked hard, and gave away 1 foul. He's not a great player by any means but the constant ridiculous reactions when he comes on, for obvious tactical reasons, and then continuing to rubbish the decision after it's worked a treat is just pathetic tbh.
  3. What's Shaun Wright-Phillips doing at the ACN?!?
  4. I know nothing of finance this is just a naive curious question, but surely almost every club bar the relegated would be rising slowly during that time due to inflation and the increasing amounts of money throughout the game as a whole e.g bigger tv deals? So would be better to compare it to the average growth for a premier league team? Or is that nonsense? edit : to show how well our share price was rising
  5. With the bounty hunter up front the milky way is ours! Hear-shey! Don't snicker at me man! You're not telling the truth. You're lion about it! Our magic stars will get the win today and Hatem is our best star bar none. Heard Wispa's that they're planning to park the Double Decker though.
  6. Do you get your oral twice a day? I've been using Aquafresh recently but ive only remember to get it it every now and again the last few weeks lol been busy and im forgetful lol
  7. Of course we don't HAVE to win any of the games left this season, but an extra 2 points could be the difference between a place or 2 come the end of the season. Besides, I like our Argentinian friends enthusiasm.
  8. Excited for today. New manager syndrome, them in the drop zone, possibility of going 6th, both teams missing key players, no idea what to expect. Hope Ben Arfa really kicks on now and makes himself undroppable.
  9. Obertan to come on late and provide an assist.
  10. They only recently signed Santos though and they have Gibbs as backup.I know they've got a bit of an injury crisis there but just can't see Wenger splashing so much out on a lb when he just bought one 4 months ago. Not that I can see us paying that either mind.
  11. I quite like the idea of this tbh. I don't see it as a risk if we can get him for <£1mill, sure theres every chance he'll just be another 'could've been', but the reward if he comes good far outweighs the risk of him being another Ranger. I enjoy having a few exciting youth players to keep an eye on too. From my extensive youtube scouting, a tweet from Rio and reading that guardian article with a mushroom, bacon, sausage and egg sandwich, he seems to have some natural talent and they would prefer it if he stayed but his agents pushing for too much cash. They also want a big sell on % clause apparently too so they obviously think he's got a shot. edit: independant http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/newcastle-go-back-in-for-morrison-6289065.html
  12. I'd even take relegation for the FA cup in a heartbeat. Even if it meant a good 3-4 years in the Championship. I realise financially that's a terrible trade, and it wouldn't be such a laugh while we're out of the prem, but I think once we'd got through it all and returned to the top flight we'd soon get over it, and then we'd have the memory of the cup forever. When Portsmouth fans look back, regardless of all the shit they've been through, I bet they can't wipe the smile off their faces thinking of that FA cup win. Even Birmingham fans with the Carling cup, it'll probably be tainted for a few years by the relegation but they're not exactly stalwarts of the top league anyway. In 20 years time, if I was a Birmingham fan I'd rather be able to say 'Remember when we won the league cup at Wembley against Arsenal?' than 'Remember when we finished 17th?' Just wanna experience all that build up of excitement and hope and sickly nerves as we progress and not have to just console myself with 'Ah well, we were close' when it all comes to a head. Can you imagine the atmosphere around Newcastle if we actually won it? Anyway this is all hypothetical and irrelevant and pointless and I'm up way too early.
  13. Cringeworthy. You've suddenly become the opposite of the Meg -> Ron conversion on Family Guy.
  14. I remember when Deano said he thought we'd finish 7th at the start of the season, people laughed. Now for some people apparently that wouldn't be enough.
  15. Agreed he really has been a big miss, although fwiw I think Williamson deserves credit for doing a fairly solid job the last couple of games, coming off the back of an injury. There's just something about Taylor's attitude that seems to galvanise the team when our backs are against the wall.
  16. He had a very poor game but that's simply not true. Very important in helping Ryan Taylor adjust and he was probably better than he's ever been for us in that unbeaten run.
  17. So on a scale of 1-10, how likely do we think it is that he REALLY failed his medical?
  18. Its a 1, just like Carrol last year where we dint play him so we cud sell him and then got livpool to agree tpo not play him for weeks after the rtransfer an for him to loook way off pace so it would look real just to trik us
  19. Aeris is clearly just a wum. Fair enough get involved with the banter with him if you know that's all it is, but don't get worked up about it and try to argue against it logically cos he doesn't even believe in the things he's saying himself.
  20. You're a fucking moron, and I don't mean that in any nice, 'banter' way, I mean you're just a fucking cretin. I hope random people haunts your posts aswell and slams you for how big a retard you supposedly are. Don't even get me started on the dreadful shite you've been coming out with the last couple of days, there isn't enough time in the day.
