We still have to play Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, would definitely prefer them to drop a few more points.

He also made potentially libellous remarks about Oliver Holt - The Daily Mirror's Chief Sportswriter. Insisting on referring to him as "Oliver Horseshit", he called the award-winning journalist a "dickhead", suggesting he had an issue with drink. "You can smell the alcohol in his tweets!" he laughed. This article from The Mirror by any chance?

Newcastle United V Bolton Wanderers Easter Monday Kick Off 3pm

The Muamba incident will have played a part. While I think it should be awarded purely on football reasons, Coyle did handle the situation well and they picked up a couple of decent results. -
Not a big golf watcher at all but the end to the Masters just there was incredible, won by this guy (in the denim dungarees)

Something's happening with Bellamy, rumours he's fallen out with Dalglish iirc. Missed the last few matches completely with no explanation anyway.

Insensitive title, it's anything but cute.

Jesus people love to overcomplicate things. They would qualify for the CL if they won it for the record, 4th place would miss out. Changed after the Liverpool palava.

I wonder what their stance will be when teams are building new stadiums. If a club like Everton wanted to build a new ground then it would obviously make it very hard for them to avoid making losses for a while, surely they would make exceptions when its clear that the short term losses are for the long term benefit of the club? Will be interesting to see how strictly they are able to enforce these rules, they've got to be air tight because say they refused Man City champions league entry they'd be costing them tens of millions of pounds, you can bet they'd have the best lawyers money can buy looking for any sort of loophole. And FIFA would have to be sure of getting the call correct because they'd be terrified of being sued by a club for lost earnings.

'As stated I am glad we didnt get him as think we dodged a bullet' I know it's not really fair as no one could have anticipated how well he's done, still makes me chuckle. In fact if he'd gone there I'd imagine they'd probably be above us right now.

Has he ever played there during his career, even as cover? Not being sarcy, genuine question. There have been some DM's who've provided solid cb cover at other clubs, just depends if he could adapt. He's a great destroyer but that doesn't necessarily mean he'd be a good cb, can imagine him giving a way a hell of a lot of fouls in dangerous positions. Would instantly become heavy favourite to get sent off, especially if he's trying to keep Suarez quiet. Plus the positioning and concentration is a whole different ball game. Or at least a different aspect of the same ball game.

All good advice actually thanks, I've found most 'where to live in London' websites a bit scared to offend anywhere so their advice just becomes a bit samey for each area. Definitely gonna commute from somewhere a bit nicer I've decided depending on finding a decent place that I can just about afford. Lifes too short to live somewhere I'm probably gonna end up hating for the sake of saving a bit of money on rent. I'll just have to cut down on my faberge's.

Speaking of Deano, while he was undoubtedly *a bit* of a tit, I'd imagine if you go back a lot of his thoughts/predictions for the season were a lot closer to the mark than those of the people that were ridiculing him for them. The piss taking of the rest of his personality was perfectly valid, like. Wonder what kinda money he's making these days...

Just been offered a job in Whitechapel, and was wondering, as it looked a bit of a shit tip tbh, if anyone had any experience of what its like or tips on where to live close by instead? My knowledge of it so far is purely monopoly based. Never lived in London or even spent more than the odd day there but if I take the job its gonna be at least a 3 year thing so I want to move down an get settled. Don't want a long commute as I'm a lazy bastard.

Can't tell if it's just my from perspective, and I'm not a really regular poster, but recently the football forum has really gone to the dogs. It's not even the kind of silly arguments that are amusing to read any more, it's just a load of shite arguments about shite, and apart from the odd kevinsasillycunt pearler, devoid of any humour (alex's fault for leaving tbh).

Think Williamson is being overly criticised for the first goal, looks worse because he slipped, but Van Persie's movement and touch was clever and 9 defenders out of 10 in his position would have failed to prevent that goal imo. The damage was done in the build up. On a sidenote, didn't watch the post match analysis for obvious reasons but I have to say Gary Neville's really growing on me as a pundit, I think he speaks more sense than most.
