Shirley this has been done to death already?

If things stay the same, then arsenal will be level on points with Chelsea. Shows the whole 'Arsene out', 'they'll be lucky to make top 8 (from Mr Lee Dixon) carry on to be the ridiculous kneejerk it seemed.

Llambias - "we will need replacements in the summer"

There seems to be a weird psychological thing where some people will instantly discard or discredit 'good' transfer rumours (more often than not rightly so mind) but will hold up Tiote/Coloccini rumours as some sort of solid proof that they're away. Not aimed at spongebob btw, he's my favourite sea dwelling poster. -
Hmmmmm. Slowly coming round to Stevies pooint of view re exdednay emanay.

PETER LOVENKRANDS will quit Newcastle in search of regular first-team football. Toon's Danish striker, 31, has made just one Premier League start this term. Lovenkrands, whose deal expires next May, said: "Boss Alan Pardew would like to extend my contract, and there have been talks about doing it, but I can't wait for that. "In January I can talk to whoever I want, so my agent is working to find me another club." Lovenkrands has hit 29 goals in 79 games for Newcastle. http://www.thesun.co...-Newcastle.html More surprised about them offering to extend his contract. 'Done a job' for us but definitely time to move him on.

Undoubtedly a good 'fucking football manager' though. I know the whole 'wheeler dealer' thing is a cliche too but he genuinely does some great business at times. £8 mill for VDV and sold crouch for £10-12 mill? I'm not gonna get all Leazes, but if he had came here and received the kind of support that Tottenham have given him then theres no reason that we wouldnt be where they are now.

You don't think racial abuse should be a crime?

Don't think its a case of teams shitting themselves, rather that those throw ins are genuinely hard to defend. They're pretty much a team of brick shithouses, if they get enough set pieces/throw ins then however hard you try to set yourself up against it (or how little you shit yourself) eventually they'll probably get something. Pretty solid defensively too, I wouldn't say Shawcross is a bad player. Pennant's definitely better than Obertan, and theyve not got a terrible set of strikers. Besides, stronger than the sum of its parts an all that.

Bit early but could be a key game in the 'battle for 7th'. Stoke, Villa and Everton are probably our main competition for it, so if we got anything here then suddenly I would start believing we could actually get there this season. Win and it's guaranteed

The most astute football predictor on toontastic? Never let the bastards grind you down, Deano.

More importantly how do you piss? Stand, sit? Foreskin forward, foreskin back?

give it 7 years and he might be eligible to raise our hopes for the 2018 world cup.

Not worth the petrol for the drive down. Or the 2 minute walk if I lived outside.

Dunno how to embed. Would pretend like I've known this for years but I'm not *that* much of a tit. Heard it off the new lynx adverts, looked it up and am hooked. Edit: Scratch that, does it auto

Heard it's because that's the clip/photo that'll get the most media coverage and it hides the big sponsors logo on the front of the shirts, which they have paid a lot of money to be seen. Still, would rather they could do what they fancy.

I have no issue with "profit from sale" or recovery of money put in (even with reasonable interest) and if the dividends etc are taken from profits fair enough, to a point, but if it's to the detriment of the finances it's not ok, because by definition those monies are being taken to the detriment of the team/club. Liverpools old owners never took salary nor dividend, it all went back in, maybe that's why our respective roads diverged from when we were on a par with them. That led them to real sustained success and led us to purely relative "success", compared to what we were used to. We have not had any semblance of real or sustained success since the 50's. To borrow Leazes' favourite "quote" we were the 5th best club in the league. Is being 5th at anything real success? its a damn sight better than the "average" 17th of your man, and his target of "top 10". You wouldn't get consistent league positions like that by selling your best players and not backing your managers. Anyway, have you worked out where the cash from the sales of Carrol etc has gone yet ? And do you have the bottle to concede that your man didn't do what you thought he would do in the summer, and spend that money to show his ambition ........ Everton? Yes, I am pedantic. put up the league positions, european qualifications and Champions League appearances of Everton between 1993 and 2007. Nah. well, don't make stupid comments then Without stupid comments this place would soon grind to a halt
