Going off recent results and performances you can see why, we missed Dummett in a big way while he was out and we look a damn sight more solid with him in the back line, love those slide tackles.

When the money runs out presumably.

The fact that Elliot has ever been considered good enough to be our number 1 answers that question imo

That's a hell of a jump between Huddersfield and Southampton despite Hudds being higher in the table.

I don't think we'll go down, just Kenedys displays so far have been enough to boost my confidence in that, never mind Dubravkas brilliant debut. Its amazing really what an unexpected win will do for the picture, we went from struggling to win and dropping points all the time to having only lost to City recently and, hey, we're not conceding many goals, picking up points. Kenedy now has two assists in three starts and has given our dead ball delivery another dimension, he really fires in corners rather than floating them which I like and which works to our advantage as we've got someone like Lascelles who really attacks them. I don't expect Dubravka to keep that ridiculous performance level (be nice though) but a good/poor debut can make or break a goalkeeper and after that he, his defence and the fans will all be brimming with confidence in his ability which will be telling in the coming weeks. Slimani is better than any other forward we have, simple as that, if he can get fit and play most/all of the remaining games of the season for us I reckon he'll finish the season our top scorer.

If you were to show how close in some sort of tabled format how would that look?

What a dick.

Where else do you write your posts? You've been popping in stuff in weird fonts/colours/sizes lately.

On another, more Newcastle related note, Adam Armstrong scored twice for Blackburn in a 2-1 win over Portsmouth last night. I sit next to a Blackburn fan at work who quite likes him, reckons he'll never get to PL level though.
-
He's apparently only missed 6 in his career, though 4 of those were in a single season which does beg the question why he was allowed to continue.
-
He didn't look quite right as he geared up for it did he? Barely touching the ball in the 20 or so minutes preceding it can't have helped.

I think I might put City on, might be more even.

And now Juve have a penalty

Its an absurd thing to own, brilliant though

Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER

Ryan Mason (Hull player, former Spurs) has been forced to retire from professional football at 26 after suffering a fractured skull just over a year ago, doctors have advised him that it wouldn't be safe to continue. Poor guy -
no idea, where have you got that from?
-
At the start of the season it would've seemed ridiculous to have Lingard as one of that set of players but it really does have to be him on current form.
-
I've managed to get a cut in the webbingy-bit between my thumb and index finger whilst finishing off my piano project last night, which is annoying as fuck to feel stretching and rubbing if I play.

Thats weird! Glad to see they're both undamaged after your dealings with DPD, what a load of shite they are.

Rafa's resurgent willy wavers vs moaning Mourinho's mancs
Andrew replied to Dr Gloom's topic in Newcastle Forum
It raises some fair points mind you, it didn't make all that much sense. I wasn't expecting anything from him tbh, and I thought Joselu should never have been on that penalty so you can see I'm a revisionist!
